  1. I feel that Santana should get the start in right and move Braun to first as well. They need a spark in the lineup and Jesús has been a black hole with runners on in the postseason. Santana is playing well and deserves to make an impact in this series before it’s too late. Braun has been playing well and won’t be benched. He’s been unlucky this postseason and could have another 3-4 hits to his name.
  2. Even though last night was a tough loss, we did win game 3 and that win guaranteed us being able to come back home for game 6, which was exactly what people were hoping for. Even if we don’t come out on top tonight, the series needs to come back to Milwaukee. I think there were a lot of people that were hoping to just win one out in LA and the Brewers were able to pull one out. Getting two would be icing on the cake, but Milwaukee will see another Brewers game this season regardless of the outcome tonight.
  3. I doubt it. He has never pitched 3 days in a row. He threw 20 pitches last night and 8 the night before. If there is ever a time to break the mold, it is now. Agreed, he will be available for an inning tonight if they lead late in the game. That 8 pitch outing won’t prevent him from pitching tonight.
  4. Machado intentionally dragging his foot and kicking Aguilar after being thrown out. What a cheap move by a classless player. Good way to hurt a player.
  5. 96 from Peralta!? Yikes, if he starts throwing that hard consistently, watch out!
  6. Prediction: Offensive explosion for the Brew Crew tonight. 11-2 Brewers and looking to clinch tomorrow night!
  7. No problem, I was trying different things like closing the browser and editing the message and resending it thinking that the issue was on my end at first. I thought the messages were failing to send and being placed in the outbox instead of the “sent messages” area.
  8. That makes sense, thanks I appreciate it!
  9. I have tried sending private messages a couple times in the last few weeks and the messages keep going to the outbox and not being sent to the intended recipient. Is anybody else having an issue sending messages?
  10. Sorry a child got abducted and is ruining your game watching experience. Thank you, I couldn’t of said it better myself!
  11. Good hustle by Shaw to get to third on that and putting himself in a position to score on that wild pitch!
  12. Chacin should get one more inning. Get through 6 and the bullpen will be set up perfectly to finish it out.
  13. Bucks acquired Jodie Meeks, cash, and a second round pick from the Wizards. Bucks used their trade exception to acquire Meeks and will be waiving him upon completion of the trade. Unsure if the Bucks sent anything in return. Meeks will begin serving a 25 game suspension for violating the league’s anti-drug program once he signs with his new team.
  14. The difference between Burnes and Peralta is that Burnes consistently throws strikes while Peralta’s achilles heel his entire career is his command. I can see why they don’t want to put a guy out there that frequently struggles in his first inning on the mound before settling in. You’re playing a dangerous game in the NLCS using him in a tight situation.
  15. Welcome to 2018! Your electronic admission to the game costs $220! (Ticket sold separately)
  16. One interesting avenue to think about is that Attanasio might be able to open up his pocket book a little more which could be enticing to Stearns and help him decide to remain in Milwaukee for years to come. The Brewers payroll this year is $110 million. Making the playoffs generates roughly $25 million in additional profits for the owner at the end of the season. If the Brewers can consistently make the playoffs, they can sustain a much higher payroll. Also, the Brewers received $50 million this past offseason from the sale of BAMTech. Who’s to say the Brewers couldn’t increase payroll another $20-$30million or so for a 3-4 year window? The Brewers could sustain a $130-$140 million payroll for a few seasons and not be concerned about going in the red.
  17. Back in the 90's I used to go bear hunting up north near the UP border and the Brewers game was always on in bars all summer long. I haven't been up there since then but if the mid 90's teams were on I'd have to imagine there would be even higher interest now. In response to Brewers fans in northern Wisconsin, there is a very strong pull of Brewers fans from the far northern part of the state. I live 6 hours from Milwaukee (and yes I live in Wisconsin) and the games are on wherever you go. You can’t go anywhere without seeing people in Brewers attire or people talking about the Brewers. The Brewers draw very well from way up north. The Bucks on the other hand... There is no interest from the community at all. There are people who don’t even realize Wisconsin has an NBA team. I can’t even recall ever seeing a person in the community wearing Bucks attire. On top of that, the Bucks weren’t on television up here until the start of the 2016 season. It’s hard to draw interest from people if they can never watch the team play.
  18. I got one ticket to game 7 in section 129, row 14. That was around 10:15. Very surprised it was still available.
  19. There is a Wisconsin resident sale for the NLCS games similar to the NLDS and those go on sale tomorrow morning at 10 am. Tickets open up to the general public on Tuesday at 10 am.
  20. The pressure on the Rockies hitters will increase as each inning passes with them trailing. Getting a couple more runs on the board will really get into their heads.
