  1. What a deflating game that must have been for Reds fans. To get such a start from Castillo, and get to Woodruff early, and still come up on the losing end. Wow!
  2. Reds' pen continues to be their downfall. Great lineup. Improving starting pitching. Pen is a dumpster fire. I get the feeling the Reds and Brewers are going to be competing for many of the same relievers on the trade market. I feel much better about where the Brewers' pen is at, though, especially if Williams's injury isn't serious, and Topa comes back strong. Topa could be a hell of an August "acquisition".
  3. He's the type of guy that the Cardinals luck themselves into every year. Glad the Brewers have one of those guys for a change.
  4. Couldn't make the Pirates pen, so they basically game him to the Brewers. What could go wrong? I don't understand. They have no one else? In the 2nd game back from the break? Shouldn't Freddy maybe go on the IL if they don't plan on having him pitch anytime soon? We could use the arm. They have Perdomo and Sanchez left in the pen. Sanchez pitched two innings last night and gave up a bomb. Perdomo likely arrived shortly before the game. So yeah, options are pretty limited.
  5. Whenever someone talks about Yelich's Gold Glove, it's a stark reminder of what a joke that award actually is.
  6. The brewers don’t have ballsy moves anymore. Good relievers don’t even go more than an inning. It was exciting when they did and we won more from it (2018). The philosophy needs to change It may change, but probably not until late August.
  7. Dude, there is just about a 0% chance of that happening. You've been watching all year, right? He's not wrong though I get both sides. Pitch Hader in the 10th, and he's for sure down for tomorrow, in what will likely be another low-scoring game with Burnes/Gray pitching. Brewers ina tough spot not having another solid pen arm for these situations.
  8. Dude, there is just about a 0% chance of that happening. You've been watching all year, right? I didn't expect it but it was the right move. Perhaps. But they aren't going to change up the way they are playing baseball now.
