  1. He's got a lot of company tonight. This Dodgers staff is good. The fact that they can't find a spot in the rotation for a stud arm like Urias says a ton.
  2. i don't think eric lauer is with the team right now. here's why. Thanks for the research. That is odd. All I can figure is that he's either injured, or they feel he has no confidence left. He's a guy that needs to live in Arizona at the pitching lab this offseason. He's young and has the talent to be in the rotation next year.
  3. Justin Topa is pitching in the 5th inning of Game 1 of a MLB playoff series game with a 3-2 score. That is a very 2020-ish occurrence. Actually, I really like Topa. What a credit to the team's pro scouting department. He looks like he's got a future.
  4. I love what Braun brings to this team, but he's held together by paper mache and binder twine at this point in his career. If he's back next year, it needs to be at a substantially reduced salary, and in a reduced role.
  5. I don't know. David Phelps says "Hold my beer." Not only was Phelps pretty good while he was here, his implosion after he got to the Phillies is probably the reason why the Brewers have a spot in the playoffs.
  6. Agreed. I think we've gotten used to those balls 4-5 inches outside the zone getting called strikes because they were quite a bit during the season. They shouldn't be, though. Is this an umpiring crew that the Brewers had at all this summer?
  7. To each their own I suppose. I wouldn't call them high comedy, but they were cute, and the players seemed to enjoy them. I think the purpose of doing them is to bring in casual fans, and they probably accomplished that. I do think that the Brewers social media team does get way, way too cutesy at times, though.
  8. Crappy movie spoofs aren't funny and going crazy over them because a baseball player made them is stupid. So basically that is exactly what I said. You are ripping on the guy for having a personality, and for the team for using it in viral video marketing. LOL it didn't go over my head at all.
  9. Oh yes, because baseball players should only play baseball and have no personality and that's it. I never said that, so congrats on your post? Then what exactly are you saying, because obviously it went over my head? Because it sure appears you are ripping on the guy for appearing in some team-produced viral videos that were meant to be funny and give him the chance to show off is quirky personality.
  10. A large part of the reason I didn't want Suter in there to start. He needs to be pulled ASAP I was advocating they pitch Lauer, who owned this lineup last year. He didn't even make the roster. Shows how much I know.
  11. Suter's quick pitches and junk ball stuff works against the absolute trash lineups the NL Central has. Not working against an actual good lineup, though.
