  1. Remember, their defensive coach is Jim Schwartz. Gym Shorts has always been a dirty prick.
  2. Yeah ... I never understood keeping only two HB active on gameday. It's such a high injury position. Packers are one Jones nick away from having Vitale and Shephard taking handoffs
  3. What A Throw! Good to see Rodgers dropping dimes.
  4. Better put Aaron Jones in bubblewrap.
  5. Yeah, they did call an unsportsmanlike.
  6. If you are going to call hits to the head, call them! Williams takes a lick to the head, after the whistle, and no call. Sheesh!
  7. Kris Bryant and Anthony Rizzo have been pretty much trash lately. Probably stand a better chance with Caratini and Happ leading them.
  8. That's on the Cardinals. No one made them run out that AAA lineup yesterday. I sure am glad they did, though.
  9. GO CUBS GO!!! (eww, ewww, ewwww ... that feels gross to say)
  10. Barring the unforeseen, this team is going to get 90 wins. Simply unbelievable.
  11. Nice win even with hangovers! Gotta love this team.
  12. Arcia has brain farts on defense once in a while, but the guy is probably the most skilled SS in this team's history (yes, that includes Robin).
  13. They were balls on the TV screen I'm looking at Mine too. We must be watching different screens than Plush
  14. This is a very good thing. Castillo is as talented as any pitcher the team will face in the playoffs.
  15. Don't look now, but Arcia is starting to heat up. Could we be seeing the return of September 2018 Orlando?
  16. I can see that. For me, though, there's no bad time to clinch a playoff spot. If we lose today, I think it will be because Castillo is on point and not because we're tired or hungover or something. I don't think the Reds will push him too hard in his last start, but he's very sharp early on. Castillo is just an awesome pitcher. It's too bad a talent like that is going to waste with such a "meh" organization. The Brewers offense is going to have to start working some counts with the hope of getting him out of the game, or hope they can scrape a few hits together.
  17. Yeah, you kinda know he's going to give up a bomb in most starts. You just kinda hope its a solo shot.
  18. "Thing that aren't going to happen for 100, Alex!" The only portion of that statement that has any chance of happening is Spangenberg getting time at SS. If resigned, Moose is not playing SS. Yes, I realize that he saw a little time there in rookie league league a decade ago. It means nothing today. Highly doubt Gatewood sees any time at SS either. He was moved off of there for a reason.
  19. They are projections, not predictions. I think people often get confused by those two terms. That said, I fully expect Fangraphs to project the Brewers to finish behind the Cubs and Cardinals next season, and I predict that it'll piss me off.
  20. Is it asking too much for this crap Phillies team to steal one win from the Nats? I fully expect the Indians to play the Nats hard this weekend at least.
  21. Grisham - CF Grandal - C Hiura - 2B Thames - 1B Spangenberg - LF Shaw - 3B Arcia - SS Gamel - RF Anderson - P No Braun, Moose or Cain in the lineup today. Hopefully the reserves can get the bats going against a good pitcher. Pretty cool that Shaw draws the start in Marty Brennaman's final game. Shaw grew up in Cincy, his dad was an All-Star closer with the Reds, and Shaw considers Brennaman one of his heroes. Today would be a terrific day for Travis to go off.
  22. That is incorrect according to a tweet from McCalvy last night. A game 163 would not count in the Wild Card standings.
  23. Gotta love baseball. And no, this doesn't mean the Cubs are guaranteed to get swept at Busch this weekend.
