The bullpen has been phenomenal today. I know ... hill of beans if they don't come back, but this Twins lineup is scary good, and the relief staff has shut them down. Perhaps in hindsight a bullpen day would have been a better bet?
I don't think you can grade the Dubon trade until you see how Ray Black factors into the equation the rest of this year and beyond. It was kind of an odd deal in that two of the three pieces were acquired with future value in mind. Does Dubon profile as anything more than a light-hitting utility IF? The jury is obviously still out.
Having him and Grisham is a little redundant to boot. I didn't think it would be possible a month ago, but he's working his way toward an option to AAA. Agreed. Be an easy way to get you know who up to be another right handed bat off the bench. I think it's funny that the guy has basically turned into the Lord Voldemort of journeyman veteran catchers.
Well, Ray Black is fun. Didn't see any 100s, but sitting consistently at 98-99, with a nice breaking ball at 84-85. Would be nice if that FB had a little more movement, because good hitters are going kill it if it isn't up in the zone.

Grisham has some terrific plate discipline. That is something this lineup desperately needs. He and Hiura are going to be fun to watch for the next several years.
