  1. Dang it ... what happened to the @OldTakesExposed juju?
  2. Also hasn't gone anything to lose it. In fact, after basically being the only offense against the Braves last fall, his leash is probably longer than you think.
  3. Hiura will get his shot, but he's gonna have to earn it, slowly, after the last couple years. They aren't going to hand anything to him. Tellez was MUCH better than Keston last year, so Keston has a lot of ground to make up.
  4. Hey, a Daniel Norris sighting! I fully expect him to look good.
  5. Well, if that is the way things are going to go ... I fully expect Hendricks to find it now and go 8
  6. Hoerner and Ortega scare you that much? I think I'd take my chances with Burnes. Edit: Crap
  7. Putting some good swings on the ball now. Hendricks isn't really fooling them any longer. Just gotta string a few hits together and have someone launch one onto Waveland.
  8. My guess is Suter. Yin to Burnes's Yang.
  9. 16 pitches in the 4th has him at 62 pitches. I'm guessing they pull him after 5, unless he's super efficient.
  10. Burnes sitting at a relatively efficient 46 pitches through 3 innings. Have to think they are probably thinking 80 for him. Hopefully he can get through 6.
  11. This is why I am happy to be able to "like" posts now. Bravo.
  12. You answered your own question. As long as he is here.
  13. He found it that inning. Finally located the cutter.
  14. Except, of course, Cutch ... who's acquisition you hated.
  15. Evergreen idea. The Brewers' lineup waiving and missing at a junkballer is always a sure sign that baseball is back.
  16. Yeesh. Perhaps Haines wasn't the issue?
  17. It baffles me how much opposing pitchers nibble around the edges when pitching to Jace Peterson. He'd strike me as the type of guy you shouldn't be afraid to give up hard contact to.
  18. There was maybe one or two times all last year where his cutter wasn't working. Kinda alarming it's not on Day One of this season.
  19. So, I wonder how Cutch feels about playing LF more often?
  20. Yeah, 80 and right down the middle shouldn't be terrible to hit when a guy tops out at 85 LOL
  21. Tellez and Renfroe with terrible ABs. Everyone else was ok.
  22. Narvaez has improved his throw to 2nd so much in his time as a Brewer. Not quite Pina-esque, but close. That said, heck of an athletic move by Adames to put the tag on there.
