  1. I say we pass. Enough of paying mediocre guys $10 million a year, can't you find average guys for 3-5 million?? and yes today is the day to pick up the option. GO BREW
  2. So does 5 years $125 get this done. We have a 15 day window (or so) to negotiate with him. Would CC possibly take that or is he going to definitely test FA, I guess it would be kind of silly to sign a deal now, it doesn't hurt the player to at least listen to offers. All I know, with him on our side we were legit if we lose him then have to trade from our limited offense to acquire a #1 or #2 that seems like a big step down, or as fans do we just accept the fact the Brew can't compete every year?
  3. Ennder I understand your reasoning but as it turns out the Lee offer was not competitive, I guess what I'm asking is this whole CC business window dressing or are they going to make an honest attempt to sign him? I appreciate your insight
  4. Sheets will get a multi-year from some team, arby shouldn't be too much of a gamble, we need those picks though!!!
  5. Fondy good thought but with baseballs prosperity you rarely hear of a team dumping salary, not saying its impossible but difficult is probably a better word. GO BREW
  6. I have the followng Big Head bobbles for sale from Forever Collectibles. There only 360 each of these bobbles making them extremely rare in the bobblehead community. They make a great present or stocking stuffer. Braun $25 Fielder $20 Hardy $20 Hart $20 I will meet anywhere in Milwaukee area (preferrably Brookfield) Thanks, Mike
  7. So are you saying 4 years for $100 million is going to be a compeititive offer, or is this the Carlos Lee offer all over again???
  8. Just a question, if Sabathia is expected to get Santana money why are the Brewers going thru the motions of making a below market offer in terms of dollars??
  9. I would love to see them get Tom Kelly, a pipedream at best.
  10. I think there's "ZERO' chance of Yo being in this deal, think Parra if you're coming up with packages, Yo is #2 at worst and we'll see how good he is next year!!! GO BREW
  11. I sat in these seats today. Sheets got a little emotional in the dugout after the game and one of the trainers gave him a hug. The thundersticks were AWESOME!!! Mr. Melvin needs to have an unbelievable off-season, wow what incredibly difficult decisions he has to make to re-stock this team. Great season Brewers!!!!!
  12. I got them, thanks guys!!!
  13. I need 2 to 4 tickets for today. Call me at (414)731-1978 Thanks, Mike
  14. I would take the tickets.
  15. Section 231 Row 3 GO BREW!!!! I want Game 4 to be played!!!!!!
  16. Is there a list anywhere of players who have cleared waivers, there has to be a better 3b option out there because right now there is a black hole and its called 3b for the Brewers. Hall looks absoluetly awful and Counsell not much better, there has to be a better option, has to be!!!! GO BREW
  17. I have a supply of all 4 from last year. They are $90 for the set of $25 each. There are only 360 of each from last year and well over 1500 of the pinstriped ones. Fielder Hart Weeks Hardy
  18. Does anyone else think Lawrie is going to be an absolute stud and be in the majors for a cup of coffee by the end of 2010? or am O being overly optimistic.
  19. I have Wednesdays game, I would be interested in any deck for Thursday. first 3 decks for Mon and Tues, let me know what you have. Thanks, Mike
  20. My only thought is Houston is outdrawing us and they don't want to waive the white flag. The owner hates to give up but he loves spending money. GO BREW
  21. The only time the Cubs fans will get nervous is if they are officially eliminated from playoff contention, we can start them on their way next week!!!!
  22. Probably the only thing this team would replace is a bullpen arm, unless a superstar became available but even then DM would probably have to think about the chemistry (i.e Holliday). GO BREW
  23. I'm not a Yost guy but I will say one thing, it took an INCREDIBLE amount of guts to put Gagne and Mota in there in a game of that magnitude. Getting the 1st game of this series was fricking HUGE!!!!
  24. This certainly isn't a blockbuster but it upgrades the team for basically nothing of consequence and we get a little more left handed, when necessary. I want 1 more bullpen guy and then let's sit back (or be on the edge of your seat) for the pennant race. The NL Central could be a race for the ages (since the wildcard was born), The Cardinals are not folding and probably the 3 best teams in the NL are in the division (maybe the Mets can be included in there). WOW I can't wait to go to these games!!!! GREAT Job by Mr. Melvin, Ash & Mark A. Thank you gentlemen, its fun to a be a Brewer fan again!!!
  25. Here we go again, glued to this stupid computer all night, UGH!!!! yes maybe no, I can't take it, LOL GO BREW!!!
