Arcia probably won’t hit much better than he has so far, and Moustakas is doing just fine but will never be a high average hitter. Shaw, Braun, and Aguilar have all been struggling and more production from them would really help, especially since Yelich and Grandal aren’t going to be hot all the time. According to Yelich, he isn’t hot nor seeing the ball well....

Doubling down on the 3 youngsters. Would be nice for all three to have signature games vs the dirty birds this week. Like Counsell said, “there’s too much stuff there” for results to be there. Things always end up evening out. I’ve been optimistic about Nelson....but I’m not holding my breath that he pitches for us at all this year. Either for health reasons, or simply he can’t get batters out in aaa.

I love how Craig is using Hader so far. More so based off need. But using the off day to his advantage to get Hader two off days in a row. Then depending on the game situations Hader is available 2 games this weekend, potentially on 3 days rest. Very underrated manager, imo.
