Didn't see what happened, but Yhoswar Garcia entered the game as a defensive sub for Luis Castillo after Castillo's AB in the top of the 2nd. Hardin looks good so far, with 27 strikes on 36 pitches. 2IP 2H 0ER 0BB 4K

Got home just in time to see Jadher's game-saving leap in the 9th and then the offensive explosion in the 10th. Awesome stuff!

Went to all 3 WC games, and what a wild, exciting and ultimately brutally painful ride that series was. Finally decided to read through this thread today. After Bauers and Frelick (!!!) went back to back, it just seemed like there was no way we were going to lose. I pulled out my phone in the RF bleachers after Sal's HR and almost bought NLDS tickets, but decided that was tempting fate and quickly put it back in my pocket. That has to be the worst loss I've ever seen in person at any sporting event, and will likely never fully get over that. But, let's get this winter over with quickly. I'm ready for pitchers and catchers to report.
