  1. Would've liked to see some more hustle out of the box from Contreras, but also he still might not get to 2nd there with Barger's arm.
  2. 1. That poster is a moronic troll, every post. Probably a Cubs fan. 2. Woody's last start was good, he unraveled in the 6th but before that he was dominant. The Brewers were pushing his pitch count up trying to get him through the 6th. 3. This game and his outing would look a lot different without that Turang error (charged to Vaughn).
  3. Got curious looking at those long stretches with zero days off for the Crew next season. Here's how they stack up against some of the other NL contenders next year as far as longest stretches of games without an off day: Brewers (1) 13 games in 13 days stretch (1) 16 games in 16 days stretch (2) 17 games in 17 days stretches Cubs (4) 13 games in 13 days stretches Dodgers (4) 13 games in 13 days stretches Phillies (3) 13 games in 13 days stretches Padres (1) 16 games in 16 days stretch (1) 17 games in 17 days stretch Mets (1) 12 games in 12 days stretch (1) 16 games in 16 days stretch
  4. Great play from Abner to end it, and I love the celebration haha. This team having fun and playing with some swagger is good.
  5. I could be wrong, but it looked like Taillon was throwing fastballs up, and everything down in the zone until strike 3 was a breaking ball out of the zone. Just a quality pitch at that point in the AB.
  6. I wish I'd kept better track this year. I think I've been to around 25 games and have seen maybe 6 or 7 losses so far.
  7. Came here to see if this had been posted for two reasons: 1) It's a great listen! If you're not familiar, this is a daily baseball podcast focused primarily on the fantasy side of things. One of the hosts (Derek VanRiper) is a Brewers fan as well. This interview with Vinny is well worth your time. 2. Both DVR and Vinny give a well deserved shout out to @Jack Stern (and BF.com) for his recent excellent article about Brice Turang:
  8. D+ Paying extra to get rid of Cortes Jr. was silly. Not reinforcing the infield, especially SS/3B... also silly. Acquiring Miller is fine, hopefully his arm is ok and he doesn't need TJ immediately after returning from the IL.
