I could be wrong, but I believe this is the only 6:15 weekday home game this year. Very odd, going to be a bit of a rush getting to the park after work tonight, and I'm expecting to miss some action which is annoying.

Pretty disappointing defense from Biloxi already tonight, and the Blue Wahoos are batting around in the 2nd inning as a result. Nightmare inning, Lazar deserved better.

Yea that doesn't sound fun. I've had nothing but good times there thankfully. Some good-natured smack talk but all in good fun. Last year there was one loudmouthed lady who kept screaming expletives at Yelich and Urias everytime they came to the plate, letting Yelich know how much he sucked especially. But a few of the Cubs fans around us turned around and told her that Yelich doesn't suck, actually, and that she should shut the hell up lol.

It's so weird because if you go see the Brewers play at Wrigley, the fans are generally great and it's a fun time.

Crying about the umpire because of such a bordeline call is just a bit pathetic, in my opinion.

I'm not sure what's so outrageous about the umpire calling an extremely borderline pitch a ball. Happens all the time. Would've been nice if he called it a strike, but it's not the reason we're giving up runs to the Braves. How about Monasterio not recording the out on that pop-up? Execution needs to be perfect to beat these guys.

Turang has struggled far more at the plate than Wiemer, he's currently at a 0.0 fWAR. I just think it doesn't make a lick of sense to send down arguably the best defensive CF in the National League when he's been well above replacement level.

Service-time manipulation isn't a baseball decision. It's money. Luckily the Brewers FO isn't dumb enough to do that, at least yet, because Tapia got DFA'd. Wiemer has a 1.4 fWAR and is an elite defender, it would be quite silly to send him down if we're trying to win ballgames.

You doubt that manipulating service time, which has famously pissed off a number of MLB players in the past, would piss off the Brewers clubhouse that seemingly loves Wiemer? On top of that being a dumb baseball decision, it doesn't make sense to sour relations between the FO and clubhouse after last year's deadline issues.

Not very encouraging. Hopefully Keston gets traded to a team that will give him another MLB opportunity as a DH. -
Going to just wait until the next round so that we have all of the signed draftees confirmed + any departures/arrivals after the trade deadline.
