  1. During the game, the official scorer scores a home run as "BH". Bill Hall is the 1TO.
  2. Ray, I looked it up. This is the entry for Todd Greene. http://espn-i.starwave.com/media/apphoto/1b594e1c-901e-49f3-a8e5-562b53d35e03.jpg Hahah, you edited your post to get the image the same time I was grabbing it. Classic.
  3. MSC, you had me crying with these two. Anyway, In the official version of the baseball records, all of them are marked with asterisks. The text next to the asterisk reads "this record exists only because Bill Hall has not yet chosen to break it". Steroids inject Bill Hall. A catcher once tried to block the plate in front of Bill Hall. This is now known as the worst mistake in baseball history. There was no crying in baseball....until Bill Hall joined the Brewers. Now it's a regular occurence. Whenever a first baseman is seen conversing with Bill Hall, he is simply apologizing for him for consuming Bill's oxygen. When playing catcher, Bill Hall doesn't wear a cup. Baseballs can't dent steel.
  4. I wouldn't mind at all if the padres saw Turnbow 7 more times.
  5. I can't wait til the buckethead brigade cuts out cardboard maple leaves to wave when Koskie is at bat.
  6. Their lineup that inning was Greene, Barfield, Gonzolez. I see plenty of justification not wasting your best pitcher on them.
  7. I swear Dan Kolb has been very good this year, and looked very bad in doing it.
  8. The Cubs are still in our league.
  9. Brad Lidge - 6.19 ERA Tim Worrell- 7.40 ERA Jason Isringhausen- 6.00 ERA Huston Street-5.87 ERA Franscisco Cordero-9.22 ERA Saloman Torres 4.42-ERA I don't understand all the demaria hating. He was an acceptable if not ideal choice (as I said I'd have went wise or lehr). The much bigger problem was giving nomar a pitch to hit with 1st base open in a walk-off situation.
  10. Lehr was warming up in the 5th inning today, he had to be available. i'm pretty sure Wise can handle back to back days as well.
  11. Turnbow was not the right move. Lehr or Wise would seem to be a lot better options than DeMaria. More concerning is that they gave Nomar a pitch to hit in the bottom of the 9th tie game with a man on second. That's just plain stupid--no discussion necessary. Oh well, we'll get em tomorrow.
  12. Bill Hall with a clutch single. Let's take the lead now .
  13. http://www.tasteofturkey.com/images/product/Cappy%20Karisik%20Meyva%20Nektari%20-Q.jpg
  14. If I caught number #714, I'd draw an asterisk on the ball in permanent marker then throw it back to the field. Of course, that's what I'd like to think I'd do (I have a feeling that in reality I would sell it instead).
  15. Thank god for loose fitting jerseys.
  16. Is it at all possible to have Hall play both 3rd and 2nd tomorrow?
  17. Unbelievable Rickie. This is bizarro world today. NEVER make the first out at third. Geesh, how many maxims can you break in one night.
  18. I hear ya there. At least the majority of Rickie's errors come from trying to do too much. No excuse for a straight up brain fart like that.
  19. COREY! Man, that's elementary baseball right there. Out was at 1. Gotta keep your head in the ball game, even when you're down.
  20. Attaboy Jenkins. I really don't understand why he sees Maddux so well, but I can't say that I mind.
  21. I'm just happy that wasn't a triple.
  22. Question from chat room. Anyone happen to know whether we're leading the league in stranding the bases loaded? Real nice inning by Bush though, and that was the "good" part of the line-up
  23. Prince just got WORKED. Swinging at Face High fastballs is not positive.
  24. Sheet's curveball looks real good today. Hopefully it stays with him.
