    Yeah, brewer game is on 1070 in madison today. For whatever reason 1310 thinks it's more important to play the Rush Limbaugh show, so they ditch the game to the sports channel. At least Gary Bennett isn't in our lineup.

    Those inside fastballs were straight up filthy, hopefully he can't hit that spot all night.

    Yeah, I laughed at that pic myself. On that note, I was weirded out a bit by the strippers who were passing out advertisements for their club in the bathroom line by Helfaer field opening day. There are some places that you should just not advertise that kind of stuff. Also, people were bringing in port-a-potties mounted on the back of pick-up trucks to use for their individual tailgates. Seemed like WAY too much of a risk to take for your private bathroom.

    Should be an interesting line-up today. I hope that Hall or Weeks is inserted into the 5 spot, regardless of who is playing First. I do hope Prince is still in the line-up, considering how bad he's scuffling, a day off may send the wrong signal. Hart for Jenkins would be nice, but it ain't gonna happen.

    Rydogg was pretty much right on with it. It would put you in breach of your user agreement, but I don't think it amounts to any level of fraud, and I doubt even if detected they would cancel your account before warning you first. They would have the right to cancel your account. As long as you paid for the service, I can't see any possibility of any criminal actions or even them being able to get any money from you. Breaching a contract isn't a crime.

    Man, none of Jenkin's homers ever make a difference in games/series. He should be drawn and quartered...oh wait...thought this was June.

    I think if Macgruder goes down, the first person we see is Krynzel. Need someone to back up CF (Bill Hall hasn't shown he can do that yet).

    Reasons to give Lee the day off. 1. He didn't get an all-star break. 2. Since the all-star break ended, he's only had one hit. 3. Chris Macgruder has been right on the ball his last two at bats, a PH double 2 nights ago, and a ball that was about 5 feet from a HR and 2 feet from a double yesterday. 4. Carlos has not had a day off yet this season. 5. Jenkins is red hot right now, and for the last week actually has looked like a better 4 hitter than Lee. 6. Lee sitting gives us 3 very good PH for the late game.

    At least you know that refs call traveling and umps call strikes. That puts you ahead of most people on the mlb.com forums.

    Mission complete. Well, at least you've convinced me. Because of the different scales though, I don't know how much this means outside the context of OPS. Any way to predict whether a guy who has relatively high (to the other players in the league) OBP or SLG will help the team more? Like would you rather have the 3rd best OBP or the 3rd best SLG?

    Quotes from the Washington Nationals Fan Forum. Go sit in the corner *****, Stanton picked off Weeks cleanly and the refs handed the Brewers the game on a balk?! Man, the I hate when refs leave the basketball game they're officiating...come over to the baseball field and call a balk. And perhaps the funniest forum post ever.... This was the most rediculous game that I had ever seen I mean... How that can be a boke???? Today referees were absolutely imcompetent.. Holy cow, where do I begin with that! All your base are belong to us!!!

    It was a very high leg kick before a move to first base, moving your leg past the pitching rubber before throwing to 1st is a no-no. (notice that Capuano always slidesteps when he makes his move) Had Rickie not been picked off, I don't know if that gets called--but if the questionable move is going to lead to an out for them you're gonna have a balk called. Especially when you have a good view all game of the home plate ump shafting the Brewers every time he gets the chance.

    Any coincidence that the ump who was in position to see all of those outside "strikes" after Ned got ejected was the one that called the balk?

    Last year in April or early May, long extra inning game between Mariners and A's was ended by cheesy balk off called on Justin Duchsherer to win the game for the Ms.
