Are you kidding me? For roughly 200k, we should easily have been able to accommodate Prince. With how the tickets, parking, and merchandise prices all going up, this franchise could easily afford giving him the extra $$$, and as a fan I wouldn't be opposed to it. Prince is part the reason we are paying these prices, and part of the reason the franchise has become so profitable. This guy has been our franchise savior thus far, and to upset him over $200k sucks.

Couldn't he find a better deal than this?

Speaking of Barry Zito, does he have the worst contract in the MLB? Maybe it was one bad year, but his numbers last year were terrible.

Sounds like Oakland is willing to trade Dan Haren, Joe Blanton, or both. LINK Any Interest?

    Beckett should have won it.

LINK Good luck, Detroit. edit: clarified title -- BtA

What happened last night has happened about 10 times this season. I can't see how people can still like having Yost as our manager.

"I said 80% of BF.net was down on him this year." --And is there a problem with being down on a guy that was hitting .200??

Isn't he a Free Agent? Looking at the roster next year, it seems that LF is our only position that doesn't have a known starter at the moment. I would love if he were our big free agent aquisition next year.

We should be leading the NL Central right now...

Whoever is tallying how many times we've gotten 'Yosted' this year, add another one to the count.

I would take Jeremy Hermida instead of Miguel Olivo

I think Ryan Braun is more than 'he is hitting in front of Prince'. He seems like he could man the 4 spot without the protection of Prince and still rake. So, with JJ's struggles, could we flip Prince and Braun in the batting order? We would most likely kick start JJ again with Prince as protection, where he was an All Star for the 1st half of the year, and Ryan would be fine hitting Cleanup, IMO. Hart Hardy Prince Braun The way our offensive has performed lately, we need that #2 hitter hot to give RBI opps. to Fielder and Braun, the hottest hitters on the team.

LOL. I always thought Brewer fans as a whole sound like the little brother of the Cubs. This just confirms that.

Ahhhh...my bad. Can't believe I got that mixed up.

Were Braun and LaPorta teammates? Could that have affected the decision to draft him?

Biggest win of the season? We got a win where we could have easily lost.
  19. DHarris34Phan
Bit hit from Jenks!!! That could have saved this series just a little bit.
  20. DHarris34Phan
    Wow, huge Cubs meltdown.
  21. DHarris34Phan
Kearns almost tied it up in the top of the ninth.... That was too close for me (I was in the bleachers)
  22. DHarris34Phan
We CANNOT have a letdown tomorrow night.
  23. DHarris34Phan
haha I love Prince. Love him.
  24. DHarris34Phan
