  1. nice to get some insurance there triple by braun and rbi by fielder.
  2. nice to see riske throwing strikes as he strikes out the side. is he the new 8th inning guy ?
  3. huston street http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b351/madisonbrewerblue/hazinghuston.jpg
  4. i love the comment about the eighth inning being "a mine field inning" for the brewer's. i'm not for trading for bullpen help right now. this weekend the brewers need to test the waters with gagne in the 8th inning and squeeze some of his $10 million contract out of him before going to st. louis next week. brewers have lots of options in the eighth inning right now, mota aint one of them. with bush cv and mcclung sitting in the pen and with riske well rested neds options are wide open. he needs to ride the pony, the hot hand.
  5. you do realize we play the Giants next ?
  6. coco coughed up 4 runs and the lead in the 9th. padres had the tying run on third in the 9th
  7. hopefully richie can resurrect his season in NY. i always liked the guy when he was a brewer.
  8. from what I saw of him last night, giving up a 3 run homer in the 9th, he would fit right in to the back end of our bullpen
  9. hurdle has to be proud of what his rockies have done tonight
  10. i wonder if cook has ever got that many ground outs in Colorado
  11. hopefully fox sports will do the same with tim mccarver
  12. doing the math....Parra has roughly 14 starts left in the 2008 season. If Manny averages 6 innings in those 14 starts that would equal 84 innings. Add that to the 93 innings already pitched this season and that equals 177 innings pitched through the 2008 regular season. Ride the pony while he is hot.
  13. When Suppan comes off the DL the decision as to who to keep on the 25 man roster comes down to Mota. Mota has been god awful of late and I for see a stint on the DL for him. Mota has little if any market value as far as a trade goes at this point of his season. I'll bet you $1.00 he hits the DL.
  14. if this was the stock market.....suppan is odd man out..mcclung has done his job as a number 5 and bush has been lights out right in the past few weeks
  15. i give Ned a B... The Brewers are 10 games over .500 on July 10 2008 same as we were last year on this date.
  16. Prince has been doing this since he came up to the Brewers. Watch Braun and his habits at the plate. He touches himself so many times I lose count
  17. big time players get out of bit time situations....way to go CC
