Absolutely not. Do not want to play them period. Brewers are not in a good place to see red across the field in the playoffs.

Counsell has to take the blame on this one. There was absolutely no reason to throw Anderson out there against this team tonight. Now we will get to see Ashby after the game is over. Good decision. Brewers appear to be getting punked at the high school lunch room.

The reality is this team is in trouble come playoffs if Adames is a mere mortal. There really isn't enough offensive support to hit good pitching if he doesn't.

The mystery of this signing is he's never been that good on offense. He's had 2 years above average. In paying him 12 million dollars when he had no other serious offers it never in any way made sense.

You are no longer trying to win if you play JBJ. That's all you can say. There is no way he should ever be hitting in a game you are trying to win. I would love to be Garcia's agent come winter. Imagine sitting down with Stearns and saying you really going to roll with Yelich Cain and Bradley in the outfield?? OK I will walk.

One of the other by products of Yelich being bad is the leader of the team seems to be a guy who has been here for what 100 games?? It would be nice if the face of the franchise could rally the boys and get some fire going but he seems to be mired in his own muck so tough for him to be the man. Pitchers can't do it so maybe Cain can step up the leadership.

Yadi Molina seems to intimidate this team. He never gets pitched inside and seems to just torture them with basic hitting back up the middle. It is amazing to watch for the last 12 years or so.

If Yelich can't hit or throw what good is he at this point?? This team could easily get swept out of the first round with a total of say 6 runs scored. I am not convince they can hit good pitching at any reasonable level. Pitching is awesome sure but come postseason you gotta score.

Yelich appears to be done as a MLB star. Rough situation for a small market.

The Brewers have given Bradley and Hiura a combined 587 abs this year with a combined 160 batting average. 587!! This team could win 100 games despite giving away a season worth of abs.

I can't get excited about this game knowing that JBJ is going to come up in a big spot at least three times and K. it's nonsense that he is playing.

Taylor is going to need to start playing on the big club soon. But I do agree How big is the playoff roster? Is it expanded or is it like it was before pandemic I believe it goes back to just 26.

If Taylor is healthy there is absolutely no need for JBJ on the playoff roster. Zero.

90 wins. Good effort. Very excited about Ashby with what he has shown. Anderson to Ashby is one of the bigger upgrades for next season.

Ashby has second best stuff on this team after Burnes. It is incredible.

I think Suter is going to work some bridge innings in the playoffs too. Not sure he should but I think he makes the cut for a role.

Important win because I think Phillies could very well be the matchup in round one. Like most pretenders the bullpen is the soft spot on this team. Gotta let them know they don't have our number.

The question now has to be who is the number four in a seven game series. Lauer and Houser both have a stake. Good problem to have. Like Lauer for it right now.

Lauer has convinced me that he is part of the solution moving forward. With Houser Ashby and him I wouldn't mind seeing a 6 man rotation again next year. Anderson is probably done here. Keep everyone healthy with the depth they have.

I've heard this pointed out about Sofia before, but as the previous poster said, she's reporting pretty often on things that have been told to her by players, managers, coaches, and various stadium and front office personnel, so it's just something she's going to say. There's only so many synonyms for "he said" that a person can use before it sounds forced, IMO. She is very good at her job imo. Like her for the most part. Trenni was better but not by much.
