  1. Games like this are primers for the playoffs for sure. Brewers are going to need Yelich to make these kinds of games work against good pitching.
  2. I wonder who has better stats since his arrival Escobar or Urias?? It kinda feels like Escobar has been trending down but could be wrong. Urias seems like he was just tapping into something and now he's on ice a bit. Not sure what the stats say but Escobar hasn't had a day off since he came here.
  3. Freddy had seven days off before this start so we can't say the brewers didn't take care of him. Just tough news for sure. Changes everything if he's out.
  4. Gotta keep old man Cain in good shape for October. Play Taylor. He can run into one every so often. JBJ is defensive replacement at this point.
  5. One day strike out 15 the next time out no hit a team through five. Ho hum.
  6. That reaction and the first at bat especially makes you think he's not seeing the ball well. He did double earlier but when guys are on base he suddenly can't see?? I don't know man. The guy has to have some hunger for those steaks.
  7. Lol Yelich. Does he want to drive in runs anymore??
  8. Burnes is a monster. He is clearly our ace to me. Woodruff has taken a slight step back.
  9. Luis Urias had 5 extra base hits today. When was the last time Yelich had more than one?? Is he Chris Davis? No. Is he ever going to be good again?? No.
  10. It's a real question given what we have seen from the big three who should be getting the ball in game one of the playoffs. All three have been so dominant at times it's really a difficult decision. I can't believe we have gone from Chacin being our ace in the nlcs to this.
  11. That's great if true, but can they really diagnose it that quickly? I would think it needs x-rays at a minimum. Probably just stating the obvious kinda like elbow discomfort for Curtiss yesterday.
  12. This Cubs team doesn't really have one building block left to build from do they?? Maybe Contreas?? No real pitching outside of Hendricks and he's a 3-4. People keep saying they will be back soon. I don't see it.
