  1. Burnes on regular rest today for the first time in a while. Would be awesome to keep him to around five innings if we can take on a few more.
  2. This is the challenge; playing a garbage team and they have a player blow out his elbow, now Garcia potentially has a broken finger and now Tyrone Taylor and JBJ are splitting Avi’s at bats. Escobar can play on a corner in the outfield. Play Urias at third. Maybe Shaw splits time??
  3. The Brewers have two prime examples of the risks that come with signing players to extensions. The Yelich deal is looking more and more like a franchise changing mistake. On the other hand the Peralta one is looking like a master stroke. Looking at the roster plenty of candidates to try to lock up. Garcia Adames Woodruff Hader Burnes come to mind. Who do you guys see as most likely?? What impact does the Yelich mistake have on the Brewers plan to try to get these done?? I for one think Adames has already proven he is a guy to lock up but the Yelich deal may have the Stearns thinking not so fast.
  4. Bullpen management is an issue heading down the stretch. Counsell is going to need to give guys a chance to get more than three outs. You can't keep giving guys one inning but 5 games a week.
  5. Suter has got to be running on fumes too. Be nice if we had a relief pitcher who could go two or three innings in a game.
  6. Give Ashby Perdomo spot. If you can't pitch him here in this spot he can't pitch here.
  7. Brewers going with Lindblom tomorrow?? Ashby sent back??
  8. If you didn't know Yelich was a former mvp he would be in the minor leagues right now. At no time in his career with the Brewers did Ryan Braun ever look this bad in a month much less an entire season. Dude was a different animal.
  9. Norris pitches every day too. Give him the day off. Perdomo has to go two.
  10. Just imagine a halfway decent Yelich in there too. Yelich of old with Adames behind him would be very nice indeed. I've seen enough and called Yelich done but hope to be proven wrong.
  11. Man this lineup with Escobar and Tellez and a decent Cain is kinda good.
  12. Will take a lot of getting used to seeing the Cubs in this condition. It's hard not to get get excited beating them but then you look on the field and think who are these guys?? With all of the money the Ricketts are making it's crazy they are in this shape.
  13. Let's see if Sanchez actually gets to stick around for another inning or if Counsell trigger finger gets itchy
  14. I guess pitching a guy every single day isn't good idea??
  15. Why Curtiss?? The dude seems to pitch every game since he's been here and gives up runs every time too.
  16. Seems silly to waste Taylor in that ab there. We don't have anybody else to take a pinch ab in the third inning??
