Gallo is the man this team needs imo. He is a perfect fit given the need the ball park etc. Rowdy coming to life is a huge positive but with Yelich being out now with covid and no real reason to expect that to make him any better performance wise the need is acute. Gallo could play first along with the outfield and maybe even some third. Taylor might have to go in the deal as he has raised his value. Maybe Taylor Hiura and a pitching prospect like Ashby??

Yelich having the 2nd lowest ops in the lineup tonight makes it very clear he's not that guy anymore. Stearns was patience waiting to see if he could find it and he can't so it's time. If I hear anymore about Travis Shaw and Vogelbach being back soon I will flip out. I am hoping for Gallo.

This team needs an rbi bat. Adames has been fun but you are going to be in for alot of 2-1 loses come playoff time.

Respect Larussa going to his ace for multiple innings after a couple days off. Hope Counsell has his notepad.

Wearing down. As much as the brewers have done to protect the pitching after a short season imagine playing catcher this season is going to take a toll. Probably need to sprinkle Pina in more except he can't hit. Get another bat and then he won't hurt you so bad.

Not having a lefty bat on the bench sucks. Hiura for Vogelbach would be a good trade.

When Cain comes back I am afraid we will never see Taylor again. In reality there is no reason we need to see Yelich every day right now. Play Taylor against lefties at least in left. If you are really all in to win play the best 9 guys.

Wong and Adames being good again would certainly help keep things going in the right direction.

Obviously Taylor being good is something that many of us first guessed but makes the Bradley contract baffling. How a guy as smart as Stearns could get it this wrong is hard to believe. I never thought Bradley was going to out hit Taylor given the same opportunity. That being said Cain being hurt was also something that you could see coming so I do sorta get it.

Madness. Brewers would throw in a prospect to get off that money at this point.

At this point if Stearns can find a taker for Bradley at the deadline even if you have to throw in a prospect it would be worth it. Roster spot and the money saved would be a home run.

You really have to hope that there is some investigative reporting that will be done on the Yu Darvish accusations. I know we all were kinda like sour grapes but looking at it now the guy hasn't been any good since.

Rodgers from the Twins would be a great get. Lefty with closing experience. Would deepen the pen and hope we don't have to see Suter more than once a week.
