  1. I just can't understand what has happened to the game of baseball in general. How can the sport continue to grow when basically every night is just strikeout after strikeout and zero runs being scored. The brewers are terrible but they are just a reflection of the game itself. It's bad baseball and more than anything else it's boring.
  2. This is not a major league product right now at least on offense. I don't know what can be done but I keep hearing about how Yelich is the missing ingredient We have not seen that guy in a couple seasons so not likely. Bottom line once again it feels like a miscalculation by Stearns on pitching and defense to win. You can't win with zero regardless of how well you pitch or play D.
  3. That’s not true either. Only Detroit has scored less than the Mets and that is with their stars, Lindor, Conforto, et al mostly healthy and available all year Well they scored 18 runs over three games this past week. That's a month worth for the crew. Credit them for not messing around and making a change. The Haines era should have ended long ago. That said I'm sure there will be those who use the Yelich injury as a reason for the issues they have but it shouldn't be. Everyone is doing what you thought they would do based on recent track record except maybe Omar who has been great.
  4. Reality is about to slap this team upside the head. Injuries suck but beyond that they just don't create offense at any kind of winning level. Mets fired their hitting coaches yesterday and they look like the old Oakland bash brothers compared to this.
  5. Both teams are gassed and tomorrow has the potential to be a slog. Brewers have more pen left. Dodgers have a stud starter.
  6. No doubt. That was intense. I'm sold I wish you got one full inning to work with then go to this in the 11th. I like it.
  7. Brewers should have won this game when you look at all the factors involved. The offense is literally close your eyes and hit a homer right now. There is no hope of consecutive hits in any way. Bases loaded and nobody out and you barely eke out a run. Bradley brutal ab a killer.
  8. Counsell is in a tough spot no doubt but you just can't only get an inning out of Suter tonight. Rassmussen is not ready for this level. It sucks but he's got to be sent out.
  9. I've gone from assuming he's here for one year to being legit concerned he's going to exercise his option for '22. That's the problem with all these injuries and him playing so much. If he was limited to a few abs a week he probably looks good and thinks he can do better. He's being exposed and we will be stuck.
  10. I can't get over that ab by Bradley. He watched a guy nervously walk the man in front of him and swung at the first pitch at his neck. Guys that do stuff like that are beyond helping. They can't play.
