You really have to wonder what Counsell is thinking. He pitches both studs in game one so now he has to punt game two?? I dunno.
-
Is Knebel still on the roster?? What gives?
-
And scene
-
Wow just saw Yardley is in. Wow. Huge spot.
-
Good point by Braun. Woodruff and Burnes might be scary in a best two out of three.
-
I would have taken my chances with Arcia and Nerd
-
Big win. Nice going
-
Gyorko has been Stearns best pick up by a mile
-
What ANOTHER terrible at bat for Hiura I’m convinced ... he needs glasses Yes I said this as well. He doesn't appear able to pick the ball up well at all. I don't know how a major league player can not have his vision checked by the club in spring training but it has happened.
-
Watching Hiura hit is as frustrating an experience as I've had since Rickie Weeks. Incredible bat speed both but both appear to have a hole in the bat. It really is unbelievable.
-
Watching a baseball is so strange these days. You have so many innings where a ball is never even put into play. So strange. How do defenders stay on their toes??
-
Goes down looking?? Urias has to be upset about that. Stearns better be too.
-
Sogard pinch hitting for Urias makes zero sense. This is who you traded Grisham for?? Platoon bat??
-
Another nice frame by Nottingham. Soft hands quiet. If he bring his bat to the party we may have something.
-
Nottingham seems to be framing very well tonight. Impressed.
-
The chance of Hiura actually putting the ball in play there was about 30 percent so maybe Counsell just said what the heck.
-
What the heck is Counsell doing?? That was terrible baseball
-
Houser and Woodruff being disappointing also have helped make this season unwatchable.
-
It is mindboggling had bad this team is. The Detroit Tigers appear to be head and shoulders better than them and they won 50 games last season. This team is in need of a major housecleaning.
-
Anyone else ready for Hader and Williams to flip flop roles??
-
Most organizations have a couple minor league guys who can mash and hold down a corner outfield spot or first base. It's the easiest thing to find. The fact this team doesn't is nuts.
-
He ain't lying
-
Davey Lopes thinks this team is not very good. Not a good look for baseball that this could be a playoff team.
-
Nope. Good two strike hitting. You never see our guys do that.

September baseball fellas. Feel the excitement
