See, that's a good reason to make a change. Systematic failure. This is a good point. That said most of these guys don't have a track record of being that good. The only ones who do are Braun and Yelich and Braun is at the end. Not saying Haines isn't the problem but it's not like he's working with a ton of high level talent in my opinion.
It feels like all the brewers have seen is good young or impressive lineups. Cubs White Sox Twins. Very frustrating to go to gun fight with a switchblade offense.
I can't figure out how he's still playing every day. I'll take a day off, would prefer a good run on the bench, and wouldn't be opposed to some time in Appleton. Bring up Keon at this point. At least he can play a big league centerfield.
Other than Yelich and Hiura who in this lineup is an above average hitter. Mathias appeared to have a clue when he was here is my point. Bring him back or let's see Ray even Tyrone Taylor.
Got to hand it to Ross so far. I didn't like the Cubs roster much heading into the season but he has them playing good ball. They appear to be responding to the new management. Schedule has been soft but hey credit where due.
The Hiura situation is alarming to say the least. I was really looking forward to his development this year but generally most guys can hit a fastball and have to learn to hit off speed. If you have the trouble he does with heat I'm not so sure the future is as bright as I thought.
