  1. Oh look, another bozo. Really? I'll just wait for the moderator to jump in and reprimand you for name calling. I'm sure that will happen.
  2. Dude relax.......he's great....I'm sure the Brewers will call....but we ain't signing him.....he will get a monster deal...... Dude how about you demand more from this organization than the same old same old. Stearns must love this fan base. Bring back Gio!!
  3. 14 strikeouts but don't bother calling because we are only the Brewers and have no money accordingly to the baseball guru.
  4. Yes..... because what I said is not wanting to sign Cole means I ONLY want to have Burnes in the rotation., and not explore other options.... Nice strawman Your strawman of we ain't signing Cole before he even becomes a free agent is sweet though. Relax dude. Remember I said Cole would look good in blue. What do you have to complain about with that statement? I know that's how you roll but leave me be.
  5. Spoken like a fan beaten down by years of mediocrity. I wouldn't have pegged them to do the Yelich/Cain off season. They might not but they need to try. Trading for a guy on a team friendly contract (Yelich) is not at all comparable to signing a guy who is likely to be one of (if not the) premier free agent of the upcoming off-season. Cain wasn't a team friendly deal in the slightest. That said taking a meeting with Cole and any other top end arm is a must. It can't hurt and the need can't be any more clear. If you want to run it back with Chase and Burnes ok. I don't.
  6. Spoken like a fan beaten down by years of mediocrity. I wouldn't have pegged them to do the Yelich/Cain off season. They might not but they need to try.
  7. Put him and Woodruff 1-2 all of a sudden the future looks a bit different.
  8. Counsell clearly prefers this type of baseball for whatever reason. Of course if guys don't get people out it doesn't really matter. Hopefully he can make it work to the tune of about 20 wins. Houston is a tough ask.
  9. People been saying bring back Anderson and Gio. If they do this team will be no where. You have to do better.
  10. Now Stearns wants to make bold moves?? Talk about anti climatic.
  11. So I guess your defense of this decision is?? Who cares when he signed?? The bottom line is the guy was all for coming back and Stearns didn't get it done. I'm tired of people nitpicking the details of every post. Jan31 is not February!! Let's look at the results. The decision made no sense then and even less now.
  12. “wanted back in the worst way” ... first time I’ve ever seen that. Well he was on the street as spring training was starting. He wanted a job and liked it here. Not a shock. The question is why didn't Stearns want him? First of many bad decisions.
  13. Cubs were without Rizzo Bryant and Contreras and still scored 7 runs?? Imagine if they were full strength. Embarrassing.
  14. I still have never heard a good answer from Stearns on why Wade Miley wasn't brought back. Has anyone? I know Rosenthal had it that he wanted back in the worst way. The guy is third in era in the Al. This decision when looking at the season in retrospect is almost unbelievable.
  15. When the cubs picked up Castellanos I said that's who the brewers should have gone after. There were people here saying we have no place for him to play. Lol
  16. The first sign Stearns is clueless is if Anderson gets option picked up. He's not good enough for you to be taken seriously. Invest the money on a real good starting pitcher.
  17. If those guys stay healthy and avoid drastic negative regression, that's a playoff rotation in my mind. Of course, as we have seen this year, that is far from probable. No way. This is still a number one away from being where we need to be. Kick Anderson to the curb and use that 8.5 million.
  18. Cardinals have the sleeper on and the Brewers are tapping and they won't take it off. They want the brewers to die.
  19. Counsell doesn't know this is the season or thinks it's already over.
