This is a called a first guess. It is amazing Counsell is the last one to know he doesn't have one.

He's perfectly fine as a mop up man. Not his fault that he was put into the biggest game of the season in a tie game. Counsell has been throwing darts at the wall all season.

To me this is reason to question Karsay as bullpen coach. Every single relief pitcher on this team cannot throw strikes to the first batter faced. Is it prep?
