  1. Yelich with 10 hr Ryan Braun with 12 hits this season. Unbelievable.
  2. No victims here bro. You think your take is more valid than anyone else's is wrong. You don't like what someone brings to the table ignore it. I ignore yours all the time. No harm done.
  3. LOL, a mod literally told you the same thing in yesterday's game thread. Yes, it is old. Ok. I give. We have an awesome pitching staff. We don't need anyone. Go with what we got and finish over .500. Sounds swell. My opinion is in step with the official board take.
  4. My take has been and continues to be the pen is an issue. It can be addressed either by adding a reliever or a starter. Both are available for a pro rated amount of cash. It makes zero sense to not do so because the need is glaring. Even when you get a great start you are maxing out at 5 innings. It's going to be a long summer if something isn't done. Is the conversation seriously going to turn to Keuchel and Kimbrel in the IGT every time the pitching staff gives up any runs? Because that has already gotten old. What about it is old? They are out there and Brewers could use them. Until they sign it's going to brought up by me unless all of a sudden we start having results that dictate otherwise. Don't mean to offend your sensibilities but it's a topic.

  6. No, that can't be right, because I've been told time and time again that other than Hader, the Brewers bullpen is a dumpster fire. And it's on fire again.
  7. The fact this team is 12-6 with two hot bats 1 quality starter and 1 good bullpen arm is mindboggling. This means the ceiling is very high for this squad if they can get guys going.
  8. Wilkerson's looking good so far. Not to mention being our offense!!
  9. Why not swap Junior and Burnes? Junior been pretty good in the pen but Burnes just seems like his stuff played better in the pen. Why not?
  10. This is the major leagues. Production matters. Developing is done in the minors or if you are a rebuilding program fine. Brewers cannot afford to watch this any longer in my view. You have to give Houser a shot. Zach Brown? I'm even up for Chase at this point. You can't have an 11 era in your rotation.
  11. Please make it stop with Burnes. At some point you have to protect your investment and not kill his confidence completely.
  12. That's the rub. The team obviously doesn't have infinite financial resources at its disposal. What happens if they sign Kimbrel, then they don't have the financial flexibility to make the deals at the deadline they'd like to? I don't think Stearns has a strict cap he's gotta stay under, but he's not giving out blank checks either. I do get that. I think it is a unique situation and a unique opportunity. A guy of this caliber isn't available for cash and a 4th round pick. No prospects lost. The need is obvious and the impact of having him and Hader sitting out there makes every game a short one for the opponents. Tough to see this opportunity missed.
  13. The thing about price is why do Brewers fans care about the price? Brewers have the money. They can spend it and increase the odds of winning it all. Who thinks signing Kimbrel lowers the odds of them winning? I don't get it at all. The guy makes them the clear favorite to win it all short of acquiring a stud starting pitcher.
  14. If they get him, great. If they don't .. they'll figure it out. In any case, the "OMG the Brewers need KIMBREL!" talk is getting kind of annoying. Let's not let the facts get in the way of you being annoyed right? Ok.
  15. So I saw somewhere that Brewers are waiting to see what Jeffress looks like before committing to Kimbrel. This better not be the case. It doesn't matter what he looks like they need him badly. You cannot have a bullpen this bad and get where we want to go.
  16. I'm thinking Wilson is going on paternity leave very soon. Otherwise no reason to use him here. So he's leaving so we have to use him? The guy in the game was doing just fine. I don't understand that logic. I get what your saying but if true is bad call.
  17. Why would Anderson just not finish this game? Counsel is always looking to use 5 guys a night. It is madness.
  18. How long does Mark A just sit by and watch this team's pitching and not ask what will it take to sign the Killer Ks? I mean when he said he had to be talked into starting the 3 young guys it sounded like he wasn't on board. Enough already. This team needs a starter and a pen piece. Do it Mark.
  19. Mad props to Junior who was our opening day starter a couple years ago. The dude has come back from the brink and is a huge piece of the puzzle again.
