  1. Man. Now that Hader has been deployed the offense needs to step on the gas here.
  2. I get that Flaherty is tough but this is why you cannot let Carpenter beat you there when you got the lead. It may be all you get. This offense doesn't have the air of putting rallies together.
  3. Where is the pen?? Hello. Counsell where are you man. Trouble a brewing.
  4. Counsell should have just said I would rather start Peralta tonight but probably talked out of it to protect a vets who of losing a huge start to a rookie. No other explanation.
  5. So Freddy gets Carpenter?? I guess all the fuss is we just rather not start Chase Anderson.
  6. Hopefully Burnes only for an inning and save the good guys till tomorrow.
  7. I've seen some mention a shaw trade if moose wants to stick around. 30 plus bombs and decent d at 3 spots for peanuts? I'll pass on that unless it's bringing back degrom.
  8. I'm watching cards and giants yesterday and the cards are down two late with a man on and up comes Molina. I'm thinking oh no this guy is going to hit a home run. Sure enough he does and they go on to win. Got me thinking in the playoffs who is the guy who scares you most in a huge spot?? I say Molina is definitely number one for me based on history. Second might be Rizzo who always seems to come up big in big spots. This is where Ryan Braun demise is big because he used to be that guy for us. Thoughts?
  9. Outside of Granderson who in this lineup knows how to work a count?? That is trouble come one game playoff if we get there. Cards are ready for an ambush if Brewers don't show up ready to hit. I was hoping to have them done by this last series. Guess not.
  10. Cain hitting means he has got to strap it up the rest of the way. Hurting or not we need him to play. You can't have Ryan Braun hitting 3rd. You can't have Schoop Kratz Arcia pitcher either. You need offense. Switch to d once you have a lead.
  11. Why on earth with all the info stats and his own two eyes ever put Jacob Barnes into a situation where he is called on to get a big out?? Where is Junior Guerra who has actually been good lately. How can you trust a manager who has 15 options and still is picking Barnes. I'll never understand it.
