What are we waiting for?
-
Madness.
-
Everyone *wants* Machado, it's the price for a rental that is the sticking point. And you just made that point by seemingly saying you wouldn't give up Brown, Woodruff, Peralta, Burnes, or Ortiz...I don't know that there's a package we could give up then to get him. Unless you want to deal them Hiura... I mean I wouldn't do Brown and Woodruff together. I think one is fine. The reality is the guy is a stud but only for two plus months. Mid rotation starter and a starting every day player is plenty.
-
If Brewers don't play Nottingham tomorrow I will be pissed. He looks way better than Kratz.
-
You can't walk the bases loaded when the guy can't throw strikes. Tough.
-
Didn't need a hit just a flyball. Miller hasn't impressed me much. After watching Arcia anyone putting a ball in play looks good.
-
A deserved loss. This has to get Stearns on the phone. This team needs a bat maybe two. Also Chase 42/3 Anderson is just not good enough. Seize the day Stearns get us some help.
-
Knebel is always behind in the count. Not enjoying watching him pitch this year. If you don't have your curve scrap it.
-
This inning is exhibit A on why a Manny deal has to be made. This lineup is not deep enough at all to compete with the big boys. If Jesus didn't do it you knew it wasn't going to happen. Cain and Yelich can't drive in themselves.
-
Anyone watching this team day to day struggle to put together innings with multiple hits not wanting Manny is nuts. The guy is a premium stud who adds swagger just by writing his name down on the card. Would not do Brown and Woodruff but they can have Phillips. Peralta and Burnes plus Ortiz give us young pitchers to keep. Throw in Stokes or maybe Gresham.
-
Extra innings is not a good look here. Williams not quite ready for this spot and Burnes definitely not how you want the first time out to go. Offense is offensive.
-
Anyone who doesn't think this team needs Machado is crazy. If Jesus wasn't putting up an Albert Pujols in his prime first half it would be curtains.Brett Phillip's and Luis Ortiz and something else to make it happen.
-
What do we have here in Jesus?? Is he Prince Fielder?? Is he a flash in the pan?? Is getting 40 hr and 120 rbis from a guy making 500k change the calculus for what this organization can and should do?? I am not sure if he is a guy you lock up or wait and see. The bad body not withstanding he seems to be able to hold up day to day kinda like Prince. I know it's only been a season but is it time to recalibrate just what we have here?? Thoughts?

Seems like once a week the brewers have a game that they are unable to play to win because of pitching issue. Watching the Cubs this never happens. I don't know why but they always seem to have enough quality arms to get them through a game. We will struggle to hold them off anyways. You just can't start a game thinking we going to throw our scrubs and hope it all works out.
-
Why not double switch when Williams came in? I do not understand what is happening with the bullpen management. I guess we kinda wrote this one off when we didn't score for a few innings. Unbelievable.
-
Last thing we need is Hader pitching in an all star game. Love the recognition but don't want him to play at all.
-
Now cut Zigurski and bring up two arms.
-
Yeah. I agree 100 percent. This is a loss in the past. Can't forget how good Peralta was again. Thinking of trading this guy for pitching for crying out loud is nuts. Baseball experts drive me nuts. This kid is what we need.
-
Wow. Great throw.
-
Watch out with the lefty bat.
-
Brewers have had 8 in the pen just about all year. Now with 22 games in a row we decide we only need 7 and one of them weighs what I do. I don't get the management. I like Orf as much as anyone but he needs to go down and get houser or someone back up here.
-
Hader not available. I read that for every inning he pitches they want to give him a day. That means 3 days off after three innings the other day. This is going to be tough from here on out.
-
Why wouldn't they be available? I hope they are Jeffress and Knebel should be. Not sure but Iam figuring Jeffress up next. Shame they couldn't close it without them. Four run lead should have been enough.
-
Nice work Jennings! Now got to tack on a couple. If the big three are not available now what?
