Lead off walk. Who would of guessed?
-
Now to the counsell wheel of death.
-
This game is over I am afraid. Unless Jesus is going to hit one out of course. At a certain point teams are just going to pitch around him. Who else scares anyone?
-
Counsell needs to be on his toes here because if Suter gives up two runs we are going to lose this one. Can't get too lax. Pina is brutal.
-
You have to go back to Cal Eldred to find a start like Peralta so far. Google him kids.
-
This is true. Good signs out of Miller so far. Focus on C if you ask me.
-
Peralta is a test case on how badly the brewers want to win now. They do not have 5 better starters than him period. He needs to stay until proven otherwise.
-
This is why I asked this question to begin with. I figured the brewers still hold out hope for keon like I do. Glad he is back. Hope that he can find his way into the lineup and help. A bench of Sogard and Acia etc doesn't work.
-
How do you guys feel about bringing back Keon? I think he still has value and to me Lo Cain is just the kind of guy that he needs to watch day to day to see how tools translate into being a good ball player. It would be nice to have him up as a bat off the bench with speed and help out as late inning defense on games Thames starts. If he goes off and ups his trade appeal so be it. Right now having 7 infielders and a first baseman playing the outfield isn't ideal. Love to see the guy get one more shot with Cain as his role model. Thoughts?

I am ready to make a move for this guy. 27 yrs old. Another young vet like Yelich that can upgrade the present and be part of the future. It is an upgrade that puts this team over the top in my opinion. It will hurt for sure but what is minor league talent for when you major league roster is stacked like this one would be. I would put the Brewers lineup in the top of the NL with Realmuto. If Braun can even scratch the surface of who he has been this team can compete for the NL flag. It is rare that any Brewers team has spent any length of time 15 games over .500. It cannot be taken lightly how close this team is. Make the move to make it official. Brewers are serious about winning now.

We started this season playing Ryan Braun at first base in order to keep his bat in the lineup. Wow
-
Underrated move by Counsell. Huge to get out of that inning down one. He is evolving.
-
My God we are watching Babe Ruth.
-
Santana offers little off the bench. Bring on Kyle Wren to be a bench outfielder if you want to. Maybe Miller takes his spot if he can stand in the outfield and be a bench bat. Arcia safe until Saledino comes back.

That 2-0 cookie from Knebel a killer.
-
If Thames can play a passable left there is no reason he shouldn't be out there instead of Braun. This team has to play whoever's hitting.
-
Manny Pina is a joke.
-
Guess what the count was on that homer.
-
I agree with this for the most part. Anderson has done nothing to expect him to go out and shut them down after you cam back to tie it on the ace for them. It was a game that required you to hold them get back up score and win the game going away. Just not good management.

My bad

Again behind the hitters and you pay. I wish Brewers could get a couple more guys who are patient and create more traffic on the bases. Oh well. Another game given away with poor execution and manager mistakes.

Again. Kingery hitting.215 ahead in the count and gets a hit. It is unbelievable to me how often we are behind guys and help them out. Ridiculous yet Hoskins the most dangerous guy they have keeps on getting meatballs. Crazy.
