  1. 3 Ks after a leadoff double is Cubs **** guys, come on
  2. Bauers wasn’t even close to swinging at that what’s the ump looking at
  3. Chourio still not familiar with his own warning track and ballpark dimensions
  4. At all costs do not want to play LA in the NLDS. So all that matters is that LA and us don’t end up the 2/3 seeds. I’m even fine with LA getting the 1 seed as that makes it impossible for us to play them til the NLCS (assuming we win our division)
  5. Funny enough a lot of Fischer’s metrics this year actually line up with 2 of Branyan’s minors seasons someone posted yesterday. Including the 30%+ K rate
  6. Hell yea Coop. Get Perkins off my team please Lockridge/Baddoo/anybody
  7. Does anyone know what Tate Kuehner’s injury is? I know he last pitched 5/20
  8. Also if you move Patrick back to the rotation temporarily who do you call up to move to the pen? Bum ass Easton McGee? Pass
  9. The convo starts and ends with Ohtani as usual but Chourio would be top 5 likely
  10. Welp. Might see a Tyson Hardin call up earlier than anticipated? Idek who else in AAA is an option off the top of my head. I know Kuehner is still hurt. Woody, Priester, Sproat, Henderson, Crow, C-Rod all injured now
  11. At what point is Eduardo Garcia rule 5 draft eligible? Or did he already pass that deadline unclaimed?
  12. Yeah some high leverage bullpen help is a clear need at the deadline, and won’t require crazy prospect losses, if they trade for a starter I’d rather add someone like Sandy Alcantara who would be cheaper than Skubal and is also a rental (unless they were to pick up his 2027 club option for $21 mil) Otherwise they have whatever they can get coming up from the reinforcements of Woodruff, Henderson, Crow, Rodriguez and maybe other AAA guys like Kuehner, Hardin or Wichrowski, only if needed though Miz, Harrison, Woodruff, Henderson, Drohan, Sproat, Gasser, Crow, Patrick, Rodriguez, Hardin, Kuehner, Wichrowski as options to start games but really only those first 4 are guys I’d want starting a playoff game. You can’t really count on Woodruff for anything though.
  13. Happy Cooper Pratt MLB Debut day to all who celebrate
  14. LFG. So exciting. Been waiting all season for this Luis Rengifo, it’s been real
  15. Very curious what they do in this situation. Trade him this offseason to get value back or let him walk in FA after 2027 and get a comp pick assuming he gets paid big bucks? Since as of now I’m 90% sure they won’t extend him. Idk if a salary floor implemented in the CBA makes it more likely or not they extend him, maybe. Also curious what they do with Vaughn next year, assuming he will get between $8-10 mil in arbitration. One year left before unrestricted FA. Bauers likely leaving in FA for a payday at this rate. Do they trade Vaughn this offseason with his value getting higher or do they keep him and pay him one more year before FA? A plethora of new 1B options coming up in AAA/AA as well.
