  1. That Wild Bill wall scraper 2 run HR looming large rn
  2. Counsell had no “aura” as the kids say and was a p***y, Murph does have aura and he’s badass
  3. Alright Frias stock is going nuclear. I’m all in
  4. I should’ve clarified Lara is in untouchable category for me as well, cause he’s definitely not getting traded after the extension
  5. Also saw Kenosha native and LSU commit Dominic Santarelli was making headlines at the combine yesterday dude is jacked and his quads are absolutely massive. Was crushing HRs at the combine. Placed in top 5 in EVs with one at 115 MPH
  6. Blake Bowen is a HS OF I like and would hope they take if he falls to round 3-4. 6’3 225 righty OF with big power, big throwing arm and good speed. Probably a lot of Ks though. Athletic with a football background with a lot of tools. Was originally projected a first rounder but in recent weeks has fallen to 45-60 on big boards. Placed in top 5 yesterday in EVs (had one at 113 MPH) and had a 441 foot HR at the combine yesterday. Oregon State commit. Brewers never take who I like best so I’ll just sit back and enjoy the draft and enjoy whoever they take
  7. Kinda wanna put Fischer in basically untouchable category. This dude might be a poor man’s Kyle Schwarber idk. Strikeouts be damned. 22 HRs his last 44 games, I can’t remember a Brewers prospect ever doing that. My personal untouchables at this point would be Made, Adamczewski, Fischer (maybe), and Frias I’d be willing to trade Pena as I’m sure a trade for someone like Skubal would require a top 25ish prospect in the MLB even though Skubal’s a rental
  8. Brock Wilken grand slam and a Tyler Black grand slam for Nashville tonight
  9. Before today I saw people say Sproat would be out of the rotation once Henderson is back and they go back to a 5 man rotation, I disagree even before today. Miz, Harrison, Woody, Sproat, Henderson Drohan returns to the pen, Gasser optioned even though both have done well lately
  10. Reds fans have to be pissed these past 2 games lol
  11. Didn’t Baddoo tear his achilles or something?
  12. Blake Perkins is the luckiest mf ever
  13. If you had to guess who would you expect to be protected from rule 5 draft eligibility and added to the 40 man roster this offseason?
  14. Vintage Woody game glad he’s back. Please baseball Gods keep this man healthy thru the postseason
  15. I know Made would be a better MLB 3B than Ortiz if he was called up right now but I know they won’t do it
  16. Kinda glad they got a hit I was preparing to be fuming after they pulled Woody after 7 no hit innings
  17. Smh man you had a guy that just threw like 10 of his last 12 pitches for balls and you let him off the hook
  18. Had a feeling Mitchell would swing at ball 4 there smh
  19. Jett and Adams I think are very likely protected as I think teams would actually pick them up but Jett is likely on the 40 man before the season even ends anyways. Maybe even Adams at this rate. Don’t think he’s really a 3B option but he’s likely a long term Andrew Vaughn injury away from being on the 40 man and also 26 man now. But obviously don’t want any injuries. Also the best long term RHB 1B option in the system currently assuming Vaughn is traded after this season or walks in FA next season. Out of the pitchers I think Kuehner or Childers might have the best shot cause I think they could be solid MLB relievers. But they’re iffy in terms of actually being worthy of being protected. I don’t think anyone else is really worthy of being protected as I don’t think they’d get picked off by anyone. Maybe 1-2 guys since the Brewers depth in their system is the best in the MLB currently. Keep in mind there was only 13 rule 5 draft selections last season. 15 the year before that. Most teams didn’t even use it to select anyone and just opted for keeping their own internal options. So you can probably bet most of the guys people would worry about getting selected would just be passed over and still be Brewers prospects at the end of the day. As a Brock Wilken stan I’m confident he’ll be back in Nashville next year unless traded before then. Nobody’s gonna take him in the R5 draft. I could see Wichrowski, M. Rodriguez or O’Rae as guys picked off by teams other than the ones I said above but the Brewers don’t really have a good reason to protect these guys either.
