Brailyn Antunez first single A hit in his debut is a HR. I’m high on him with that bat speed he has just gotta get the Ks down

Would cost an arm and a leg. Nats have little reason to trade him or Wood with the control they still have so Brewers would have to give up a lot. Maybe 4 players and 2 top 100
edit: Abrams only has 2 years control left thought he had more
Fischer with 30 HRs after one last night and Burke with 3 last night to reach 24. Fischer the first Brewers minor leaguer with a 30 HR season since 2001. And Burke might join him.
If that is the cost for Miller I agree, no. Like I said Padres will need to be blown away by an offer though. If you can do that deal with those 5 except swap Pena for Jeferson Quero I’d do it. I’d prefer not to include Adamczewski or Fischer either but recognize it would likely be worth it to do so for Miller. Fischer I think is peaking as a prospect with his insane numbers but the Ks are very concerning long term. Would rather deal him than Adamczewski.
Based on how much they gave up for him the Padres probably first ask about Made, get told no and would then require Luis Pena and others to get this done. The best closer in the game with years of control left will not be cheap.
Angels left handed SP. Angels likely to sell some guys cause of how bad they are. Listening to today’s episode of Milwaukee Brewers Microbrew Podcast with JR Radcliffe and today’s guest Robert Murray (currently works for the Athletic covering MLB and former Brewer’s beat reporter). Murray who has legitimate sources and breaks some trade news says he’s not sure guys like Skubal or Mason Miller will actually be traded, Tigers still think they can extend Skubal and Padres sold their whole farm to get Miller who still has a lot of control and would have to be blown away by offers. He contends Detmers would be a fantastic fit in Milwaukee and has the stuff to be a top 10 pitcher in the MLB if he got in the Brewers lab, with his underlying metrics suggesting he’s better than his numbers indicate. He also thinks it would take more than it would take to get Skubal to get him due to his remaining control (2.5 years). If they want a controllable SP he might be the best option however the Angels would need a really good offer to move him.
Robert Murray confirms no Fischer extension or any talks of it. Also no talks with Made about one currently although I’d expect that to change over this offseason
Easton McGee being traded for cash is one of those 40 man spots. Think they now have two 40 man spots available. But I hope they just DFA Kuhnel when he comes off the IL
My guess is Wilken as well, upcoming rule 5 eligibility (wouldn’t get selected in that draft but still), and he is blocked at 3B for 2027 and beyond by not only Luke Adams but also Jesus Made, Jett Williams and Andrew Fischer as options
Brock Wilken is a guy who at most will probably get a cup of coffee in the MLB. He doesn’t have a ton of value anymore. And trust me I am the biggest Wilken fan there is
