Yea Rottino was mentioning several pitches that were called balls because of how he caught them and how he’s a work in progress

It’s been said, and I’m a believer In it that Charlie Greene is some sort of guru with these guys who are suspect defensively, come here, and are at least decent, if not noticeably good! Small market teams obviously have to do little things like that well (pitching lab, catching lab etc) to make up for not being able to get the most expensive or obvious toys. The Brewers have consistently done this really well.

I can’t believe we got Contreras AND Payamps for Ruiz. Contreras , I’m legit excited about not just the bat (power will come) but how he seems to want to and already has been improving behind the plate.
  4. YelichPosse
Yes that’s not ‘a little cautious cause he’s sore’ … quite the opposite
  5. YelichPosse
Adames throwing to third prevents this from going farther! Big play.
  6. YelichPosse
    Wow. Ya what a dub.
  7. YelichPosse
Come on Payamps! Get us a double play ball!
  8. YelichPosse
Grisham drives me nuts too for as ‘ok’ he is. That barely got out. Maybe I’m still mad about the error in 2019 lol. But , bad Bush is bad.
  9. YelichPosse
Heck of a start against a good club
  10. YelichPosse
Can Rea give us one or two more innings like that? Color me pleasantly surprised today.
  11. YelichPosse
Manny do what Manny do. Haha man I can’t stand that guy.
  12. YelichPosse
Yelich is Junk, as is Junk.
  13. YelichPosse
That last pitch there was simply unfair wow did that move left to right
  14. YelichPosse
One thing we have learned this year, can’t win if ya don’t score. Let’s go!
  15. YelichPosse
Turang is special. Especially defensively. He’s so fast on his feet.
  16. YelichPosse
Why do half of Yelich’s swings look absolutely lazy and as if he’s given up ?
  17. YelichPosse
Gotta score to win. If ya don't score, ya won't win. Sounds like a Yogi-ism. But its plain truth haha.
  18. YelichPosse
So, to win, we need to simply score runs… Voit has been hot garbage since his ‘we are gonna rake’ comment
  19. YelichPosse
Wilson’s stuff seems to play well in relief - pleasant surprise thus far
  20. YelichPosse
Adames is either terrific or like how he was in that opening day game and today
  21. YelichPosse
Another horrible one yikes. CC better get tossed today….
  22. YelichPosse
That was a ball 2x last half inning. I never blame umps for games but this is quite rough.
  23. YelichPosse
Anderson just took the one pitch I’ve seen tonight that was actually a true strike, for strike 3… haha yes this looks like a rough one tonight
  24. YelichPosse
I believe he is best served as a one time through the order type of guy. Maybe a second time if it's the bottom third. Will be nice to get him back though and move one on from a lesser bullpen arm.
  25. YelichPosse
HOT TAKE - Yelich will become near his MVP self again. This is the optimism thread right? :). This team is much more fun to watch than the last couple years, already, and we still have Frelick knocking on the door.... Urias to come back... and this #1 prospect in baseball fella waiting in the wings....
