  1. This might be the best wave defensively of kids we have ever seen. The sticks will come. But the D is sure fun to see.
  2. That had to be one of the worst check swing calls I’ve seen called by an appeal let alone the home plate ump… that changed that at bat.
  3. William can keep doing that all year as far as I’m concerned.
  4. When Frelick gets rolling do we see him soon now? Bummer for Mitchell he’s an exciting player.
  5. Long time coming is an understatement
  6. Vinnie is getting better. You could tell he was fresh and new at it to start the year but they really are getting into a groove together. I do like how he’s definitely a homer but not in an annoying way at all. You want your announcers to have some bias right? I liked a couple quips where for us ‘he didn’t go around’ then Seattle was up ‘see, they went around there’. They also seem to really enjoy what they do. That’s not a given. There’s a lot of announcers across the league worse than that paring. We have been spoiled with Ueker , BA, Matt V, Jim Powell, Rock (to a point haha), heck even Daren Sutton. Rottino and Levring will only get better together as well and will make less mistakes as they go. Makes it enjoyable to watch.
  7. I get and understand what Jim said and why it was done. But…. What happened in the bottom of the 9th is a direct result of that. Wiemer or Perkins catch that ball pretty easily I believe. One out off the bat changes the inning. Plus yea, JW had his first solid game at the dish in a week and a half - should have left him in. But…. It all worked out in the end. Just not how the situation read. Not going to second guess CC because he’s pushed a lot of correct buttons this year, was just a strange decision is all!
  8. Wowwwwww almost as if it was the ole Sunday lineup getaway day throwaway game but the bats woke up! Bush with some great pitches again!
  9. Ok, Bush looked great last night. Let’s see if he still has that rhythm !
  10. That is why the Yelich PH should have been for Miller not Wiemer. Shrug. Hopefully it doesn’t matter!
  11. Turang is a fantastic baseball player. Yes he will struggle at the dish here and there but his D is so so good.
  12. Great surprises here … my only question is what will the outfield be now …. Haha
  13. WWhy would you not pinch hit Miller instead of the guy with 2 hits today… and a MUCH better outfielder. Color me confused.
  14. This team is going to take years off our lives … but man… fun.
  15. This year is depressing, losing what seems like a player a game to injury …. hope Frelick is ready to rock
  16. That might have been Bush’s best inning as a Brewer that I’ve seen. Wow
  17. And has been mentioned - some really high level framing by Contreras can help this too!
  18. This is a good take. Peralta took a while to develop slowly after the Lind trade. Burnes and Woody both came up and yes these guys have good stuff. But I don’t recall them being ‘can’t miss’ arms either back in 17-18 time frame. Maybe I’m mis remembering. I believe we have the coaching and pitching lab that will develop a nice surprise or two on the starter front - who’s not on our radar.
  19. That’s an interesting deal. He could be really good. He also would be a candidate throwing that hard, for arm issues. So it’s probably smart on his end to cash in as well.
