Do you guys think he would even go as far as waiting to see what happens in the top of the first inning before going with option A or B or C ? Put a dummie holder in the 9-hole, somebody who wouldnt pitch for sure (like Gio).... Just curious HOW FLUID the situation is.

I agree with this take . We have gotten to a place where we have TWO chances to get to the division round. Not one. But two. How many times does that happen? That takes a special season to have this opporintity. I’ll be enjoying it , every pitch, every bad play, every good one, because tomorrow, 20 teams went home already and don’t have another game til March, yet we have some things to be decided. -
LETS GOOOOOO! Going to be tough to sleep tonight with the excitement to commence in 14 hours ... I’m good with a pen day. Ride the hot hand. Whatever CC says likely will work. He’s been money this last month. I had my doubts through the year but he’s really made some fantastic decisions down the stretch.

I’m happy just for a shot at the division ! This is fun! A close second on the awesome scale is seeing the Cards fade and miss out on the playoffs, since they usually catch the wave that we have been on this year. In the words of Kevin from The Office after they get the parking spots back from the construction guys: ‘It’s just nice to win one’ -
I’ve already counted myself as useless for tomorrow . Going to be getting real sick about 1130 , likely need to head home for rest.

MLB.tv is free this weekend ! I know it's NFL Sunday, but I do think it's kind of nuts that there is no regular national coverage of either of the two big games today. I'm getting the Braves locally and that's it. MLB Network is just showing gameday or whatever it's called on the channel guide. I suspect they'll be doing a lot of split screens, though. I agree. The NFL Cash Cow wins again. You’d think somebody would pick up on this missing market - intentional or not. MLB should partner with somebody the final weekend of the year and nationally televise all the big games , would be awesome.
