You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see that , been that way for years it seems , always trying for roster flexibility instead of solid hitters . just going to waste solid pitching that we have had over the last few years . will be different next year !
  2. mtsportsfan
    Yeah!
  3. mtsportsfan
We just can't / shouldn't lose games that Burnes starts to teams like Washington
  4. mtsportsfan
Of course wash bullpen will shut us down ! Pathetic !

I'm so close to agreeing with you ! Every game is a dogfight and after watching Atlanta kick our butt its hard to envision us getting by them ! They are on a way different level. And now struggling with Washington , a bottom feeder !

Sorry , I don't buy it . he's the ace of the staff , get out there and pitch! See a psychologist later ! Need to ride him , its his last year with us anyway !
  7. mtsportsfan
Elvis has left the Building ! Too late I think !
  8. mtsportsfan
    Crap ! Why couldn't / didn't Burnes come back out ?
  9. mtsportsfan
    Joey!!!!! What a blast !
  10. mtsportsfan
Not very instinctual ! Seems to have a lot of hesitation . could be the situation but something tells me its not !
  11. mtsportsfan
And just like that !! Oh well !
  12. mtsportsfan
Could be more of a problem if they trade for some pitching ! Big trouble !
  13. mtsportsfan
    Wow . robo ump please!
  14. mtsportsfan
If Willy can't be upper echelon at ss , what's the sense . he can't hit. Just drives up the pitch count which Burnes doesn't need help with !
  15. mtsportsfan
Thank you ! Drives me nuts when they say that and its not ! A perfect bunt gets you a hit !
  16. mtsportsfan
Not to impressed by this ump. Both ways !
  17. mtsportsfan
Fine with this move ! Works pitchers , patient hitter and doesn't strike out a lot . didn't give up much. Positive trade !

I was going to say one less lefty to face , but think we still a few games against the rangers I think , to lazy to look.
  19. mtsportsfan
Add Adames to that too , and he's generally hitting third . its really time to drop him down in the lineup until he figures it out.

Absolutely need more production from the DH spot , but don't want to include Gasser in any trade , with Burnes going to be gone next year and unsure if Woodruff will be here or even healthy next year , Gasser is a guy we are going to need for the rotation next year .

And here is our clean up hitter ! Still probably our best option ! Yuck
  22. mtsportsfan
What a battle ! Got a little worry though , it looked like Cruz was timing him up ! At 100 + what a talent !
  23. mtsportsfan
These guys just can't lay off the high one ! This is just brutal to watch at times !
  24. mtsportsfan
Great relay , give the reds credit . that being said it wasn't even close. Got to have better read than that! I guess that's what happens when you can't score !
  25. mtsportsfan
No , he is in the Adames way of hitting , close your eyes , swing as hard as you can and hope you hit one out.
