  1. FINALLY! What a game!! I'm spent. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/sick.gif
  2. 26Ks in one game for one team. Ties the MLB record. Fun stuff!
  3. This is so pathetic, it's hilarious! I'm loving this.
  4. What a frustrating game. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif Just pathetic offenses.
  5. a feeling that Tankersley will go deep off of us again, especially with Wes on the mound? Switch the names around and the type of XBH and I was right. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Nice job Obie!
  6. Is it just me, or does anyone else have a feeling that Tankersley will go deep off of us again, especially with Wes on the mound? And I'd like to see Spivey and Clark on the bench tonight.
  7. Nice game today, nice turnout, took advantage of the 5 county thing, got fried in the sun on the 3rd base side. The more I think about Scotty's HR the more impressed I am. Off a lefty, with tough shadows in the 8th for a guy who's not the most powerful bat in the lineup is pretty good. He's got a little more pop in the bat this year, just needs to keep getting an easy swing on the ball and the average will pick up.
  8. I listen in to the Mavs for the first time all year and what happens? The Mavs score 8 times in the 8th. Mavs now lead 12-2.
  9. I could care less about Overbay's streak. I'm just glad the Crew got the W.
  10. start their second and last series of the season against the Expos Does this mean the Crew will never again play in Olympic Stadium? I'm crushed. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/ohwell.gif
  11. What a great performance. The crowd was really into the game from the 7th inning on. I lost a good amount of respect for Estrada after that crap he pulled in the last AB. Take it like a man not a child.
  12. Maybe.... but the throw was there... a difficult play yes, but GOOD CATCHERS make that play. The throw was there... A high school catcher maybe doesn't make that play, but a guy making millions of dollars better... That play is 50/50 at best. I admit, when I saw the play at live speed I thought he blew it but when I saw the replay from the CF camera I have to say that that's a though play for any catcher. That bounce in the dirt is never predictable.
  13. With a little help from Wes Helms.... Ben Ford is Matt Kinney. Way to blow that lead.
  14. The completion of the first game will take place in Huntsville on Saturday, May 1st beginning at 6:05 p.m. I take it that the Stars will be visitors in their home park for the first game. Gotta love Minor League ball.
  15. According to the Huntsville site, Game 1 starts at 11am. I don't know why it was posted here as 10am. Edit: Pregame show is on. Bausher to start Game 2
  16. USAToday.com has the old style boxscores. Although, you have to wait around longer for those to come out.
  17. Huntsville 5, Montgomery (Devil Rays) 4 SOU FINAL R H E - - - MONTGOMERY 4 4 0 HUNTSVILLE 5 6 3
  18. When was the last time the Brewers were 2 games over .500? It has to be more than 2+ years. They can reach that mark with a win today. June of 2001 with the dreaded "Sweep Suits" http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif
  19. Kolb, Vizcaino, and Bennett... the 2004 version of the Nasty Boys. Well, Kolb and Bennett certainly have the looks for it. I just watched the replay on FSN and Viz was just dominate. His fastball was dead on and the split was really working. His velocity was way up from last year. Hopefully he can keep it up.
  20. I'm aboard for both games. I promise to be less of a wallflower this year as last year assuming I'm not under the weather again.
  21. For a while I thought I was the only one having problems.
  22. I agree that where our affiliations are truly does not matter. However, it's nice to know that this site has the strong connections with the Brewers' farm teams that we might not have with different teams. Also, it's nice to have a good organizational relationship with the farm teams and their surrounding communities. Without that the organization would have yet another black eye, though obviously not a very noticeable one that would only effect certain small areas. Overall these are minor worries and really would not play much of a roll in the affiliations in the future. I will say this, I don't care about the fan's comfort in our farm system (except for maybe Beloithttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif ). The only thing that matters is that our prospects get every chance to succeed, wherever they play. Hmm, all you can eat and a ticket, all for $10? I'm there.
  23. I would imagine that I'd be able to go unless something out of the ordinary comes up.
  24. We already have a CF, his name is Scott Podsednik. IIRC, Billy didn't do horrible in CF in Indy but he didn't stay there for long. I don't know why they put him back. Maybe he didn't like it, maybe the coaches weren't impressed, I don't know. What's wrong with having Billy play SS? Why mess with the guy's position here if it didn't work out in Indy, for whatever reason.
  25. Podsednik in left, Hall in center, Jenkins in right, perhaps? And you orbiting Uranus. Haha, for once I'm going with David on this one.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eek.gif Hey what about Sexson at Catcher?http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
