  1. I-94 will have significant, full closures between Minneapolis and St. Paul this weekend (May 15-18, 2026) for bridge construction work. Both eastbound and westbound lanes will be impacted, with closures starting at 10 p.m. or 11 p.m. on Friday night and lasting until Monday morning, requiring detours. [1, 2] Weekend Closures (May 15-18, 2026): Westbound I-94: Closed between I-35E and Dale Street in St. Paul starting at 10 p.m. Friday. Eastbound I-94: Closed between I-35W in Minneapolis and I-35E in St. Paul starting at 11 p.m. Friday. Detours: Traffic is advised to use I-35W, Highway 36, and I-35E. [1]
  2. I have seen decorative chains used for this purpose. Same idea as the strings. See Rain Chains on amazon.
  3. I felt like I was close to getting that kind of treatment a few years ago when I had a shoulder impingement/rotator cuff issue. I felt like the appointment changed when I said I don't want to mask the pain, I want to fix the problem.

    Solar

DIY Solar Forum is a very active forum where you can get all the information overload you may need. While geared toward DIY, there are sections that talk about installers. It is a great resource for research to understand how deep you might want to go but you may find a lot of information that is overwhelming. It is also very international so you will get advice from across the globe. I seriously considered starting my own solar business many years ago. Sometimes I wish I had because it has grown pretty much as I expected. Sometimes I am very happy I did not for all the same reasons. I do solar DIY on my RV, that is enough for me.
  5. Every one of these teams needed to play that well or better over that stretch to realistically achieve there next goal with the possible exception of CHC. CHC would have had to perform much better to catch MIL.
  6. When he trades away the "wrong" players in the next few weeks.
  7. Perhaps Chucky took the first round loss MoJo from Madison to Louisville for us to never see again in Badger land.
  8. This is exactly the struggle. I see it as an opportunity to do something I would not otherwise pay for myself. We might have to target the 2026 season when the schedule comes out so that we can pick one of those top 5 or so stadium/city experiences with the biggest bang for the $500 buck.
  9. For those not paying attention, the Badger women at 31-1-2 have been #1 all year and should have a good run in March.
  10. Nice input, this has become an exercise in weighing the options. I like the idea of a non-brewers game, I catch them in Milwaukee and the twin cities often enough. My original thought was a home Brewer game but depending on the rules, I might not get the whole $500 value in ticket prices anyway (first few rows of the upper level). Milwaukee is a road trip for us so taking the edge off the overall cost of that trip is still enticing. I wish they were a bit more clear on how it works. I wonder if the leftover value of the tickets gets you parking and/or refreshments. I might look at and try to predict a good September matchup in a city we want to visit.
  11. Given the opportunity for two tickets in the lower rows of the upper level of any baseball venue, where would you go to see a Brewers game? My company has a rewards program and I have saved enough points to receive this $500 value reward called the Level Two Experience. There are many options for how to use this reward but I am currently focused on an away Brewers game. The information below is all that I can find on this reward and it has some limitations and rules, most notably you need to request tickets 90 days in advance. This is the web site for the vendor that provides this. It is a $500 value and I don't know if it includes anything beyond tickets at this point. So, with this information, where would you most like to see a Brewers game?
  12. Realizing there is probably something in between, I would rather have been a Brewers fan the last 25 years than a Marlins fan with 1 World Series title.
  13. The one thing among all the changes that we are seeing with this team that I love is the end of half/game possessions. In the past, starting with the Bo teams, it was always that one guy (such as Chucky last year) that held the ball at the top until it was go time late in the clock. Seemingly 90% (not a real statistic) of the time that one guy dribbled around and took the last shot rarely passing. Good opposing coaches would prepare for this and defend it. The predictability was annoying. I have not seen much of this the entire year. The last couple of games it has been Blackwell in these situations but his willingness to pass out off the dribble late has been refreshing.
  14. I have had some LiFePO4 lithium batteries for my RV for about 5 years. They are expensive but last much longer than the alternatives and have several other advantages that make them worth it, at least for my application. So, I am doing a little light reading this morning making sure I am properly caring for my batteries, especially during this very cold stretch we have had. I found a Blog on the Renogy website, check out the risks of overcharging your LiFePO4 batteries...
  15. That is my exact memory of Jr.
  16. You are jealous that they signed three pitchers that we have the equivalent to and dove in the Brewers dumpster? Hmmm.
  17. I think some here missed these two posts.
  18. Isn't this why the math also does not work for him today? I think the trade deadline is the key to determining what they do with him. When he is brought up he will likely be just a guy playing at that borderline level of being MLB material. If that is the case there is nowhere to send him when you need the roster space.
  19. Just living too close to Minnesota caused our rates to jump when we moved here 25 years ago. Our agent said " you will do most of your driving in Minnesota" as a reason for the increase. 25 years later I want to tell her that "no, we don't do most of our driving in Minnesota."
  20. I see this sentiment a lot. Those lost Pirates, Reds and Cubs games are replaced with the likes of Tigers, Royals, Rangers and Athletics among others. If the schedule is tougher it will be because the American League East could be solid top to bottom. The rest of the divisions are pretty much a wash.
  21. I was at all three games at the Frozen Four. Ohio State vs Northeastern semifinal was not great hockey either. However, the Wisconsin vs Minnesota semifinal was an incredible game as well as the Wisconsin vs Ohio State final, another fantastic game.
  22. Sure, Twins Daily where 90% hate anything Wisconsin. But yes, there will be some people taking note until about Monday next week.
  23. That is all good and fine, it's an opinion piece. It is you who pay for it, not me so you have the say here. My suggestion is kind of a "show your work" when writing a paid for article. I don't think that was done and the article ended with a leading question on if the Brewers can repair their scarred reputation. My other point is that the star player speaking out and being hurt does not hurt the team at all unless he causes problems in the clubhouse. If that is the case it is on him, not the team. Like I said, nobody in baseball cares about it except Brewers fans. I think I saw someone post that it happens 10 to 15 times every year around the league.
