  1. I think you mean “what if I don’t have an account on the app that nearly every single Brewers (major and minor league) player has and is a useful tool in players announcements (especially injuries and retirements) straight from the players themselves?”. Then I suggested you download the app, create an account, and give BrewersFarm a follow to stay up to date with the latest Brewers farm system news. I have already had three members of this forum create an account simply for this purpose. Thank you again for your interest!
  2. For anyone interested in following along closely with Brewers prospect rankings, transactions, stats, and awards give BrewersFarm a follow on instagram. There will be posts regarding Brewers prospects past and present, such as the recent Taylor Jungmann signing, from the DSL all the way up to Milwaukee. We already have 15+ Brewers prospects themselves following the account as I have reached out and spoke with a number of individuals including Payton Henry, Andre Nnebe, and former farmhand Dillon Thomas. Each and every follow is greatly appreciated and the Top 100 Brewers Prospects countdown begins on Friday!!!

  6. Huh, when they updated rookie status earlier this year on the site they still had Black as intact. For this reason, I had Black in my top 100 Brewers prospects heading into the season. I guess I will be changing my list up now.

  8. As far as baseball reference is concerned, both Black and Wahl’s rookie status is intact for the 2020 season maintaining prospect status. That is good enough for me.

  10. Just wanted to let everyone know that is interested to go follow the new Instagram account I started called brewersfarm. I will be posting about Brewers top prospects and minor league transactions, stats, highlights, and awards. I will also be counting down my personal top 100 Brewers prospects starting on Feb. 21 and I will add three new prospects each day until MLB Opening Day on March 26. I appreciate anyone and everyone’s support in this new adventure of a Brewers Minor League fan community! (PS I already have 8 Brewers Minor League players following the account!)

LHP Nathan Kirby, AA HM- RHP Carlos Herrera, A S- LHP Brendan Murphy, Rk I am very excited to see how the 2020 season unfolds for these Brewers prospects and many more. The Brew Crew farm system doesn't get much love but, in reality, it is quite deep with potential even if it is not top heavy. There are many names that just missed the Top 3/HM/S for their position that will be interesting to follow.
  12. Extreme longshot -- LHP Blake Fox (10th round pick out of Rice University in 2016) For some reason I was always high on Fox and he is probably the longest shot at a comeback I have come across. He missed the past two seasons due to injury and will already be 25 years old entering the 2019 season having only pitched in six games professionally (Helena, 2016).
  13. RHP Noah Zavolas (Acquired from Seattle in Domingo Santana trade along with LF Ben Gamel) Zavolas is an average build standing at 6'1" and 190 lb. He was a starter at Harvard his junior and senior seasons and threw a no-hitter against Yale on 4/13/18 while collecting 12 strikeouts. In June, he was drafted in the 18th round of the 2018 MLB Draft and the Mariners saw a relatively quick path to the majors by putting him in a relief role. He appeared in 19 games between A- Everett and A+ Modesto while recording a 3.03 ERA in 38.2 IP to go along with 41 Ks. Zavolas will most likely start the 2019 season in Carolina regardless of his role. Personally, I would give him a shot at starting, however, the farm system is absolutely loaded with starting pitching from MLB down to A Wisconsin. Whether they can find him spot starts here and there or not, Zavolas is an interesting name to watch going into 2019.
