    The glaring missing piece is a stud linebacker. Pretty much every really good defense has one cat in the middle that is an absolute beast.

    I think it's also fair to take it a step further and note that in addition to stating his desire, he also clearly indicated at numerous points that he wasn't/didn't devote any of the offseason to football activities to 'clear his mind', etc. I'll be the first to admit that I don't know what his typical/previous offseasons have looked like from a 'football activities' standpoint, but yesterday it certainly looked like he hadn't devoted much time to football vs. other things this offseason.... From all the beat writers accounts Rodgers was locked in and throwing the ball incredibly well all pre-season. Practice speed against the Packer defense is quite a bit different from game speed against a legit one.

    While I fully expected a slow start and kind of a stinker of a game this wildly exceeded my expectations. They will get things straightened eventually and baring major injury's will get to the playoffs and then flame out spectacularly with another defensive collapse.

    Rodgers doesn’t like playing the in the preseason. Rodgers got what he wanted, good and hard. Ding ding. Lack of preseason reps wasn't an issue the last two seasons when the Packers went 13-3 & made the NFC Championship Game both years. What was different this offseason? The last two seasons everyone but Rogers at least got some work. This year no one did.

    I fully expect them to fall behind by at least 10 Considering they didn't play at all in the preseason it's going to take a half for the timing to come around
