Bungels about the gag this one away.

I never understand coaches waiting so long on the Timeout that the guys gets a free practice kick.
  3. yourout
Yeah I don't get it either. They pulled the starters one series too early. This is not a particularly good offensive line the best thing they could do is move Bostad back to oline coach. Rudolph it's just not a very good offensive line coach.

Actually there's been far more commercials than football this half.
  5. yourout
That was a flashback to Matt Ryan in the 2010 NFC Divisional round before the half Probably a few people with money on the game that are really unhappy about that throw.
  6. yourout
    Wow what an awful throw.

Can't put anything on film for future opponents don't you know.. Not like there's anything in the playbook that hasn't been there for 20 years. Really didn't learn much more in this game about how good they are or aren't. After Notre Dame and Michigan will have a better idea but I'm really not impressed with our offensive line.

What's the deal with all the commercials this half. This is brutal

My take that I no longer enjoy the game as I did when I was a youth due to pitch counts (today's example), 7-inning doubleheaders, and other changes is laughable? Good grief. Has nothing to do with their success this season, I just don't enjoy watching the game as much as I did when I was younger. The game changes like every other sport. That is literally the history of the baseball. Read some Bill James. Way back in the 90s I played in over 30 baseball league and the pitcher threw both ends of a double header and I caught both games. I'm guessing he threw somewhere around 300 pitches.

That one was on Mertz. Just can't read a defense to save his life. the hold. the dropped pass. all adds up Also true. Sloppy football.

  12. yourout
Man he struggles to read defenses. He had open guys everywhere except where he was looking

PC wants to make sure they can Master the handoff before they tackle the forward pass
  14. yourout
Decent punt return. But then again anything other than a jack dunn fair catch is probably a decent return.

Put a few patches on them and you'd swear he was working a pit crew for NASCAR.
  16. yourout
It's just so different when you don't have a JT that puts things in the end zone when he has a chance
  17. yourout
    Nice tackle by mertz

Have a hunch that Iowa is going to win the West

We won't learn much about the Badgers tonight unless it's really bad.. The big questions won't be answered for at least a couple of weeks.

I'm not sure the B10 will have a team in the playoffs this year. I could see everyone having at least 2 losses.
  21. yourout
That Tampa front seven will give the Packers fits again if they play.
  22. yourout
    Heck of a catch.
  23. yourout
Great....walk guy to get to McCutcheon.

I have seen enough of the Phillies to know I would rather not face them in the playoffs. I've seen enough of the Dodgers in the playoffs to know I would rather not face them if we don't have to. Anyway, I don't expect the Phillies to sniff the postseason anyway. Also agree. Don't want Dodgers and don't want Phillies. Anyone else we match up well with.
