Obviously you would not normally walk the tieing run to second but in this case I would be very carefull and if Harper walks so be it.

His OPS+ of 39 is the worst in franchise history, “exceeding” Mike Matheny’s 1996 and Tim Johnson’s 1973 OPS+ of 44. Is he in danger of not being on playoff roster if Taylor comes back Was wondering that myself. I'm guessing he makes it just for the late game defense.

I think people grossly underappreciated how good Taylor was. Having a home run hitter in the backfield changes everything. The guys we have now are okay but really aren't a threat to go 75 yards on any play.
