  1. This is exactly why I love message boards So much more entertaining than the games
  2. Just another gas can trying to get three outs
  3. Well you can’t hsve it both ways. If you want to throw yourself out there and be a critic. You better be able to take it too
  4. Our pitchers just walk so many guys. Is it 1. Pitching coach and philosophy believes in trying to get outs pitching out of the zone 2. Pitchers are scared of the juiced ball this year and don’t want to challenge anybody 3. They are just bad
  5. I would guess that ted Williams and Orlando Arica might be the most opposite players in any sport ever But opposites attract
  6. Sorta, but 2011 was really more of our shot. We may have objectively had the best MLB team that year. Last year we definitely didn't. Yep
  7. Not quite as bad as it appears to be > JUICED BALL! To be fair. I agree with brew crew on this. You can’t really go with stat comparisons from last year. There obviously is something up this year But we are close to bottom of the league in runs given up. That’s horrible compared to last year
  8. This team really was done by all star break. Not by mathematical probabilities, but you could just tell they weren’t really very good I was resigned to this fate earlier than most people, they just weren’t even close to last years team where I was considerably confident of their chances by the end of July. I cant wait until its the last week of the season and you two are jerking each other off about how correct you about the Brewers being mediocre. I mean, I know that's why I come to this place. Thank you again for being such great fans and letting us all know about it. Anything to help. I was thinking you came here to learn how to put your pants on the morning. You have to do one leg first then the other. You can’t do both of them at the same time if you are standing up Now if you sit down, you can actually put both legs in at the same time

  10. It's actually been 13 days. It's been 2 days since you said you could tell something special was happening with this team and it was more than just a 3 game winning streak. You gotta stop making predictions. Sometimes a 3 game winning streak really is just a 3 game winning streak and little else. Gio is a problem. Davies is a problem. Lineup vs LHP a problem. Cain a problem. Other than those problems, this team in great shape. Some of the issues I mentioned can be mitigated somewhat by the Stearns September Roster. But if Moose has a broken wrist it’s gonna be tough. What September roster
  11. The brewers are officially the lamest playoff contender in history.
  12. Since everyone is kind of done with trotting out the 1982 Milwaukee brewer celebration days, it’s time to move onto a celebration of our great 2019 San Antonio missions legends I’ve already got a ticket for 2039 opening day when we can celebrate the return of Tyler Saladino, Aaron Wilkerson and Burch smith and how they carried us to a memorable 83-79 record David Freitas won’t be able to make due to a commitment to his hall of fame induction that weekend
  13. Too late, he’s hurt. Sorry. I don’t accept that. Anyone who is scientifically created cyborg sent from the future to annihilate any and all round cushioned cork covered by white cowhide and red stiches is not hurt
  14. So should Freitas get called up before or after solves the world hunger problem
  15. No spongebob shortstop today? San Antonio savior #1,376,890 on the bench today
  16. In his last seven games: 7.1 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 13 K Post-All-Star break: 14 IP, 7 H, 4 R/ER, 7 BB, 21 K I think he is slowly cementing his spot on the roster next year. It’s hard for me to celebrate a guy who takes that long to throw a pitch. I couldn’t imagine playing golf with him.
  17. I've been watching Miami-Florida tonight and keeping tabs on the Brewers on MLB gameday and am unapologetic about it. That might be the worst football game I’ve ever watched
  18. Thank god there were girls because brewer baseball in that era wasn’t going to do it for me
