  1. The cardinals are the one. Look at the schedules. We are going to have to win the series against the cardinals to make the playoffs. Pirates blowing this today hurts. So we lose a game this weekend. And now they have the royals and we get the twins. The Mets schedule gets really tough
  2. Na, let’s continue to do the same ole same ole and leave the .525 vs LHP hitter down below to continue to help San Antonio crush their opponents. Can we bring up those opposing pitchers so we can hit against them too?
  3. Can the pirates actually hold onto this?
  4. The Aguilar trade made it worse. Now we are stuck mixing and matching at 1B against LHP. Small sample size, but Aguilar is hitting .348 for the Rays. His bat certainly would have helped today more than Faria's arm has helped us. I thought that was a decent trade for the rays. I could see Aguilar having a good last 40-50 games. For a meh reliever
  5. Grandal hasn’t hit a homer since July 6th. Is that right My god.
  6. When you are in a playoff race you don’t like to lose games 1-0. That’s pretty pathetic today
  7. Jeffress with a clean inning. What is going on today
  8. You didn’t even need a hit. But this is Day and age we live in
  9. That’s bad baseball after a lead off double.
  10. Since we are the home run or nothing offense. We’ve had the nothing. Let’s get the home run
  11. That might have made more sense. Brings dp into play with a .162 hitting catcher coming up
  12. Might want to think about stealing a base here. We may have to get a run the deadball era age
  13. Well. You can’t complain about that outing from lyles.
  14. Considering how any scrub lefty called up from the minors seems to hold the Brewers offense in check, it shouldn’t be surprising that a good one can shut them down completely. Also it doesn’t help when I don’t use you’re correctly
  15. The pirates are not good at baseball Which is a trait you don’t want when you are a baseball team. Something I look for when I do some armchair analyzing
  16. If your a left handed starter conspiracist this game is helping your cause One hit. One
  17. Probably won't do it now because he's almost ready to come back. Although you would have to think they didn't anticipate him missing 6 games already or they might have used the dl. It's a mystery. It must be something for swinging the bat aggravates it and not just playing the field or he would have pinch hit by now
  18. Those numbers are going to be skewed if you don’t take them into context though. For example. The dodger game is only one inning total by the outs he got but it really was supposed to be a multi inning appearance. He was just so bad they had to take him out. There are other games like that too There is no doubt that this worked during the year. I’m just wondering if it might be better to scrap this for awhile until he gets his mojo back
  19. This would be a massive sweep. Brewers favored. Gamblers loving lyles? No Yelich? Btw. Quick question. Don’t you think the hader getting five or six outs strategy should be tabled. Now that he’s not automatic it might be better just to use him in a more traditional one inning mode That might get him back on track. And maybe get more games out of him too as he’s still the best reliever
  20. Hands down. The biggest disappointment of the year More than Shaw
  21. It’s going to make everyone nervous. I think we are going to have to get use to that Whoever gets the call just has to do the job. It’s probably a good idea to go to the store from the 7th inning on. Or do laundry
  22. Hiura. Again. Jeez And what an outing from houser
  23. Philly lost, Wash lost. St. Louis has an easy schedule this month. Drove all the way back to Chicago and got home just in time for the major chokage than the major clutchage
