This has the feel of a walk off Sunday win for the home crowd. -
2 for 22 pinch hitting with 12 K? No thanks. You're right. Counsell, Kotsay, Wilson, and Kottaras are so much better. Pick any one of them and I'm substituting them out for Giambi.
-
Sure would be nice to have a left-handed bat with that kind of pop on our bench right about now, no?
-
Maybe Fielder 3rd, Rickie 4th?This lineup does make me think about next year a bit. Will Rickie move out of the lead off spot permanently when Fielder is gone? I think it's a foregone conclusion. We will need the pop and run production to come from somewhere. Might as well put a guy who's proven he can produce in that key spot.

K-Rod with the W...Ax Man with the save. How beautiful can this be...talk about appeasing both "closers." Let's do this, John!
-
Yeah Weeks!
-
Great first (4 out) appearance by K-Rod. I guess we better get used to seeing a lot more Kotsay starts in LF. Ugh.
-
Fielder is so very bad in the field. He better be a DH long term.
-
And he just blew our whole bench. In a close game, terrible managing.
-
Betancourt running for McGehee? Uh...why?
-
Has happened many times before. And you're surprised?
-
Stick by your boy Loe, RR. You're getting what you deserve.
-
These fans are irritating me a lot. Booing every strike called by this ump now. Would feel great to send them home still crying...
-
Of course...nothing with this team can ever be easy.
-
Looks like well get our first look at K-Rod tonight, boys.
-
Where did Hart's speed go? He's slow.
-
Keep adding on!
-
He only took one swing, replicating his approach at the plate.
-
They should sign Wily Mo if he needs to be DL'd.
-
...because the players love him too much.
-
Ha. I needed a good laugh. There's a better chance that Yuni wins the 2011 Gold Glove than Doug doing that.
-
Your new leadoff hitter, folks. Take a bow Corey.
-
So does Greinke have to put in a whole season of mediocre pitching before Brewers homers realize he's vastly overrated?
-
Haudricourt says the Brewers players are sick of answering questions about their road struggles. You know how to stop the questions? Win!
-
Melvin will never sell. Agreed. He has too much invested in this team by his supposed win-now moves that he will play this thing out...hoping to God that Yuni, Casey, and Counsell somehow become serviceable players...
