  1. Couldn't have laid it on a silver platter any better than that
  2. What don't any of the media who meet with Roenicke everyday ask him why Lucroy isn't batting further up in the order? I mean...the guy does hit for the best average on the team. What do the media ask everyday? i don't ever see any of the questions we all ask on this board answered...probably because no hard questions are ever asked of RR.
  3. If I were Cruz and saw the likes of Erick Almonte beating me out for the final roster spot, I would've probably been upset and pursued another opportunity elsewhere myself. To think Betancourt was ahead of me and to know the organization would give him every chance to succeed because they acquired him to be the starting SS, I probably would've thought my chances of playing were slim. Having said that, if I saw Yuni ahead of me on a depth chart, I'd like my chances of getting an opportunity at some point. I don't fault Cruz at all for leaving.
  4. Yup. He's probably letting out some pent up frustration and jealously that another one of his partners is receiving national attention calling games for a big network besides FSWisconsin.
  5. I couldn't agree more. He's been up over a week....if it took a 10 run lead to put him into the game, he probably shouldn't have gotten called up in the first place. That is basically like playing one guy short every day. Maybe RR just didn't see him enough in spring and he can earn some more playing time. Of course, he's already hit a guy and gave up a triple without getting an out so that's not good. I think he's likely to head right back down after Morgan is healthy. And unfortunately because he gave up 2 runs here, it may be another week (or the next blowout) to see Dillard get back into a game.
  6. Wow, Roenicke finally "found the right spot" to use Dillard in his first appearance. Seems a little troubling that he needed a 10-run cushion to feel comfortable using him.
  7. Impressive hit by Braunie to the opposite field. When he's driving the ball like that to the opposite field, that's a sign he's getting locked in
  8. Thats why you can't even hide Gomez in the #8 spot. Plush can't come back soon enough!
  9. It sure would be nice to jump into a tie for 2nd with Cincy after tonight. Someone has to start to put some heat on the Cards.
  10. Yes, you would.I'd consider him a solid #2. On our roster at the end of the year, he'll probably be our 3rd best starting pitcher though. That says more about how I feel about Greinke and Marcum and less about a slight on Gallardo.
  11. How did the Brewers get 2 first round picks?
  12. The good news is: you can never watch baseball again, if you want. It's completely possible.I didn't think that condescending comments were allowed?Yeah why be a prick? Like we all weren't frustrated in the moment...jeez. Atta boy Prince!!!
  13. I can't pin this one on McClendon either. He did what he had to do in inducing that DP that our slick-fielding, gold-glove SS botched.
  14. Yet another night where I'm asking myself, "I stayed up to watch THIS?"
  15. Speaking of our bullpen, sure would be nice to have Carlos Villanueva in there. His stats this year look really, really good for TOR.
  16. Yikes, McClendon time. We must be scraping the bottom of the barrel out there in the bullpen now...
  17. For the record, I do not like Gomez, Yuni, or Boggs. Toss in Almonte for good measure too if you like.
