  1. Yeah, underachieving is bad enough, but when being snakebit is certainly not helping matters.
  2. Agreed, but the problem remains that it was crushed
  3. No, really, after hearing them call that home run I want to puke...it sounded like they high-fived News flash dudes: there are ten people in the stadium, how many do you think are watching you at home? Yeah, I'm irritable and bitter but having to hear these bags is just the salt in the wound
  4. I agree. I don't remember them being this bad in previous seasons. Maybe first place is going to their heads. I keep expecting the camera to cut to them and see that they're wearing cheerleader outfits. I also can't stand the way they act as if Helms was actually really good in Milwaukee and the fans there are irrational about his performance.
  5. Wow, I left the game just as there were two on, no outs, and Uggla coming to the plate: color me pleasantly surprised to come back and see we're still in this I still despise these Marlins announcers
  6. Well, that's one good thing about being a West Coast Brew fan...their disheartening losses rarely get in the way of programs I want to enjoy
  7. http://www.global-b2b-network.com/direct/dbimage/50158127/KTV_Remote_Control.jpg There's probably a pretty good movie marathon on AMC or something. Throw in a sixer while you're at it Meanwhile, it's only two runs in the 2nd inning.
  8. A hit before the 3rd or 4th inning, there's a start
  9. I don't think it'll need to get close to 10 games under; I'll say six or seven games under .500 by the end of May. Perhaps a somewhat "high profile" demolishing sweep in Boston
  10. well, I'm starting to go from whatever to anger...next step is acceptance
  11. Braves have won five straight since this thread has started; Brewers have lost five straight
  12. The Marlins' announcers are driving me up a wall right now on top of everything else
  13. I'm amazed the seagulls aren't circling that empty football stadium right now what with the smell of hot garbage wafting up from the field
  14. Need we be privy to a t-shirt war
  15. I'm of the opinion that if you have insurance (like DougJones said), any time you have to ask this question, the answer is Yes
  16. My God I despise watching this team right now Not even Idiocracy quotes make it enjoyable
  17. Great eye, Prince Back to your normal scheduled Brewers programming ladies and gents
  18. Nice, I was just about to make a bitter post about one Burke Badenhop having a perfect game against us.
  19. Congrats...in the words of Haven Hamilton, keep a-goin'
  20. Yeah, there's not much worth doing in the immediate Orlando area that's not connected to the parks or at least their attendant resorts. Downtown Disney is a good suggestion. I'm not a big Islands of Adventure fan personally--it just seems like a Six Flags to me. If you want something a little more laidback and adult at one of the parks, my friends and I used to go on an "Around the World" tour at Epcot, where we'd stop and have an adult beverage at each nation in the World Showcase. It's pricey though: we had season resident passes, so that was cheaper for us, but the drinks/food are not cheap there. Just slightly further afield, you're surprisingly close to the beach, and Cape Canaveral is right there, too--highly recommended. I used to go clubbing at the Firestone in downtown Orlando a lot in the 90s; great place but I'd imagine it's gone now.
  21. Unfortunately, no, these 16 losses count. Sure woulda been nice for Hall to take a pitch.
  22. Silver Lining: This will have been the shortest Brewers' game in weeks
  23. Great, he faces more than one batter, too FIRE SIMBA!!!
