    Blech, in all of yesterday's fun and excitement I hadn't even noticed that the Crew are up against Oswalt tonight until just now...it really is always something, isn't it? Like others have said, given our success in the past, I think we can keep it close through 6 or so and take it in the later innings...I'm still waiting for just when El Caballo is gonna have his big crack-back game against the Brewers

    Speak for yourself...as a fan I root not just for the uniform or for the results--if so I should just watch simulated games on the computer--but for the people and the personalities as well. Does that mean I was happy with Turnbow's recent results? Absolutely not, but I wasn't angry with his effort, either. He just lost his control.

    He....he can't hurt us any more. We're free....FREE! I actually feel really terrible for ole T-Bow as a person, he always seemed like a good guy. Are there any other Brewers ever with such a story: plucked from scrap, rises to become dominant and a big fan favorite, just as quickly loses his magic touch and loses much sympathy and at times is downright hated, plateaus and then finally divebombs to the bottom of the ocean

    I agree wholeheartedly with TheCrew07. I'm a bit of a Cubs fans apologist, however... (I have a lot of Cub fan friends that are really great people and great baseball fans...I do agree that as a fanbase they're smug, self-entitled, and oddly arrogant. ) All the same, whenever you're tempted to go over there and have a chuckle, keep in mind that strangers come here to laugh, too--you can bet they were here last night.
