Yeah, I tuned in during the 14th when I saw on ESPN's ticker that it was still going, and then fell asleep on the couch at some point in the 18th and woke up again, presciently, in the 22nd. The Colorado announcers had been pretty jovial for a while but just sounded relieved at best when it finally ended.

Five county celebration is coming up next week: http://mlb.mlb.com/ticketing/index.jsp?c_id=mil

He had two on with no outs and he looked terrible in the process. We all remember how that scenario went the last time. I was worried.

Well, save for the usual Gagne Terrors, I thought it was a beaut. The bats got hotter as the game went along, bullpen was terrific (including a surprising turn by McClung), Prince gets his well-timed first homer...

This team seems to have a lot more late-inning grit and firepower than the last couple years.

And of course I forgot...redemption. "IN A WORLD...WHERE SETH MCCLUNG PITCHES THREE SCORELESS INNINGS..."

Wow, this game had it all, heartbreak, joy, suspense. I give it two thumbs up! Hero of the Game: Prince Unsung Hero of the Game: Seth McClung

Well, no outs and he represents the tying run...I'd pitch to him

What's not to love, the dude seems like our life raft and he looks like he should be two stools down at Wolski's

Two outs, Mota vs. Duncan, men on 1st and 2nd
  16. SeriesFinale
Amazed he challenged him with a 3-0 count

Hope that wasn't our last best chance Edit: But it sure feels that way...

Mota's fastball was on fire today

He gets Washington here and that means Pujols isn't due in the bottom of the 9th Of course, it guarantees a bottom of the 9th!
  21. SeriesFinale
Yeah, people were going nuts earlier in the game because the Brewers weren't taking pitches. To be fair, those were three of the cleanest strikes I've seen in this game, though.

There ya go Big Man, Boca Burgers on me tonight!
  23. SeriesFinale
Last night with two outs in the 8th and Flores pitching with men in scoring position that was the same result
  24. SeriesFinale
Wasn't Prince in this situation in the 8th last night?
  25. SeriesFinale
Seth McClung with three scoreless innings? I think our pitching staff does, too!
