  1. I've officially turned over to the SF-Cubs game...come on, Rally Giants
  2. Sure wish the Cubs hadn't opened up on SF again
  3. http://milwaukee.brewers.mlb.com/images/2004/10/04/v7rMmpd8.jpg "....Psyche!"
  4. Bonds is killing for the Giants today, 4-3 now in CHicago after a 2 run single
  5. It's early and Estrada's already killing us
  6. Guess we really gotta kick the Giants while they're down since they're doing us no favors in Chicago.
  7. Uhhhh...Adam Dunn? Wait, sorry...
  8. Right now I feel like http://www.petakids.com/page/fish_main.jpg
  9. Regardless of whether this happens or not, I'm just not sold on Dunn being "the piece." Of course, maybe his mere presence could kickstart Prince again.
  10. I really needed to get work done today, Between this (whether it's true or not) and the game itself, it's not gonna happen. I like the idea of Dunn in the 5 spot...but mainly this morning I'm liking watching some Cubs' fans freaking out a bit over this
  11. I'm hearing stuff all over the internet but nothing official
  12. Trading T-Bow is getting rid of guys though
  13. I'll be sick to my stomach if this is true...for a rental?
  14. There are a lot of rumors out there
  15. Getting rid of my infected wisdom tooth.
  16. Aramis Ramirez will truly miss him.
  17. When I transferred from Chicago to San Francisco last December, I bought a Chicago 2007 wall calendar for work to remind of the city I loved and lived in for the previous several years. Since the Cubs have really gone on their tear and started breathing down the Brewers' necks, I've had to look at the photo for July--a big honkin' photo of Wrigley Field at sunset. I drew an X over it this morning.
  18. I'm absolutely outraged. Between Sheets going down, Hall going down, our bats going cold, and the Cubs turning it up to 11, it's a pretty reasonable train of thought. Ultimately I care much more about the standings than how much respect the Brewers are getting in Texas or Connecticut or Oregon. Or Chicago or Milwaukee for that matter.
  19. Hmmm, given the Wheatland shirt and the clues, I thought maybe Sky Saxon for a minute but Google isn't bearing it out
  20. Woe to be a hot-starting darkhorse...I don't like all this pressure all of the sudden Wake the heck up, bats! ----- Continued here: viewtopic.php?f=63&t=30474
  21. I don't know how that trade with Rickie for Phillips is any less nuts from the Reds standpoint than the initial rumor. I can also imagine that keeping Rickie around might be a kind of placation for Prince and JJ for a few years
  22. Remember last year when people wanted him for Caballo? I don't know if anyone could have forseen this but it makes me feel good about Doug Melvin once more
  23. Adam Dunn would do wonders for this offense. He's made for the Brew Crew, a big fat windmill
