    Hey fellas My wife just banished me to the back room here after all my loud cursing while watching the first 5 innings tonight I will obviously refrain here but Holy Mack I cannot stand watching this team this year. Normally disappointment is dull but these guys manage to infuriate. Something's gotta give, and I think and yeah, hope, it's Ned's job.

    That's exactly what I said. At any rate, with Magowan stepping down at the end of this season, I see it even less likely that Lincecum and/or Cain gets dealt this off-season.

    Lincecum and Cain are going nowhere together. I'd be absolutely shocked if even one of them got dealt. It doesn't pay for the Giants to trade them; they're not an organization that can't afford to spend on free agents and have much less incentive to deal a young stud pitcher to "restock."

    So far Gagne's performance this year has just proven all my Red Sox fan friends who gave me a hard time about his signing right. I'm OK with him "rubbing it in their faces," but I'd prefer if he didn't blow saves left and right, period. Anyway, I don't like the idea of this being rained out since 1) if it means a double tomorrow, then that's probably two games blacked out on Extra Innings that I won't get to see instead of just the one, and 2) it would really stink if the Brewers would have to trek back up to the Northeast at some point later in the season since it would really be out of the way. I hope and assume any make-up would be on Monday.
